Serious question as a former Aatrox main, why? I see people lose games because they try to take him top lane, feed horribly and end up completely useless midgame.
Did some streamer or pro player play him recently?
yes... a streamer , played ranked with him...(because.. high elo )
and he got banned because he went 0-15 because aatrox was 100% useless .

The same reason pre-rework Karma would get banned.
So your teammates won't play them.
I ban Aatrox because he's the first champion listed on the screen. It's like sending a message, that I don't need bans to win. Unless someone on my team has Riven in their summoner name.

Aatrox is for me the god of this game, thats why dev give him so bad statisticS making him hard to play because he is as squishy as an adc, the real problem is aatrox is kind of psycho banned of the worl of lol and play by casual retarded, even a challenger otp aatrox is a bronze because he allowed to 1 vs 5 each game if you understand how to make him simply permanently invincible and if needed he can end the game under 10 mn OPOPOPOPOPOPOP,
