What determines if you get an s rank
I dont understand it, im by no means a good player so i dont get s rank often but i went 15/3/9 as lb and got just an a while our auerlion sol went 17/9/16 and got s +

Comparison to other people who play that champion. Often times a good KDA that doesn't get S rank is because of creep score. However, Riot hasn't officially listed guidelines.
Performance, compared to average for that champion in that role. And performance means more than KDA. They take things like damage dealt, cs, wards, and probably more things into account to determine your grade.

Riot has access to a lot more stats on just about everything, so it really depends on how detailed they made their system. My guess would be that warding and playing objectives helps a great deal.
