Why doesn't Kindred's Q proc E?

It really feels like it should. To be honest, it really feels like Q should apply on-hits to all targets, but I can see how that might be a bit much considering Kindred's passive. But what is the point of gating their E like that?

It just feels like they're unnecessarily weak.

I agree with you, but don't forget to mention that kindred's q only hits what is closest and doesn't prioritize champions. I feel that this is really lack luster as it has costed me a few kills while playing Kindred.

I believes Riot's comment on this was that Kindred's Q should be primarily used for mobility, not damage. Think of it more like Ezreal's E.

Because then it would be a free proc and broken as fk lel

I propose changing the q to have one arrow that prioritizes a champion, give an additional hit needed to proc e, and allow q to proc e. They might need to balance Kindrid's sustain after doing this though.
