Give us a flex rune so we can have more options
Instead of,
Primary: 1 keystone, 3 runes + secondary: 2 runes (3-2) Where the secondary page has to be different than the primary page
give us,
Primary: 1 keystone, 2 runes + secondary: 2 runes + flex: 1 rune (2-2-1) where secondary page has to be different than primary page, but flex can be any page even the same as primary or secondary.
-
this creates a lot more flexibility, the flex rune can be very situational
-
lets players be more creative, which is the whole point of the new runes isn't it?
-
less wasted runes. perhaps I don't really want a warding rune or eyeball collection from domination. but I do want electrocute. To take the keystone I want I'm being forced into a rune I don't want or may not even be useful to me on a given champ or in a given game. with flex I can forgo the rune I don't want and use it elsewhere
-
more efficient, I might want ONLY 1 rune from a page. like the biscuit from inspiration to help survive lane or revitalize for healing my adc or coup de grace to secure kills . I could take precision as my secondary but I'll be forced to take 2 runes from that page when I only wanted just the one rune.
-
more options. more possible things for me to come up with, more possible play styles to try out.
examples: Primary: Domination, Secondary: Sorcery, Flex: Domination
Primary: Domination, Secondary: Sorcery, Flex: Sorcery
Primary: Domination, Secondary: sorcery, Flex: Inspiration
