I was thinking of some Yorick support after seeing his abilities.

Think it might work or am I just out of my mind?

yea but it depends on what he scales with, ap or ad. if he is ap and his ghouls can apply on hit effects ap bruiser junger yorick is gonna be all the rage with item 3116 item 1414

I haven't watched any of the PBE gameplay yet so I wouldn't know. I kinda figured he'd play more like a Tanky low damage zyra is the best way to describe it. Do the corpse circle thing into his slow with the minions, and your ADC following up. Could work but like I said, haven't watched PBE or heard any other opinions.

He does some magic damage, but definitely scales with AD.

Quite similar, yes. He has a ranged aoe spell that does magic damage and slows, allowing him to more easily approach. He still has an on-hit ability and a heal that's tied to actually hitting something. He still raises ghouls and mobs people with them. He still summons a new champion-like entity that contributes decent damage.

The one thing he lost is the pseudo-revive. In exchange he has a neat circular wall and extremely strong pushing power.
