And you think it's impossible that people didn't like having duos in their games either?
that's the thing. the duo feature has Always been a topic.
People don't want old soloQ, they want new soloQ without duo.
Note that i'm not expressing my opinions, just stating facts.
I prefer the new queue system over the old one, but if we're bringing back solo queue, why not just make it a real solo queue?
Just because that is the norm doesnt mean it cant be improved. People want as few ways of boosting as possible and I for one support that.
To be fair having duos in the "solo" queue will likely hurt the queue times of flex
Honestly, I'm fine with solo/duo.
Honestly, the only change I want them to make is to restrict duos by their ranking (i.e. be within five divisions of one another) for the sake of matchmaking.
Take it, leave it. It really doesn't matter what you do with duo's, I still lose when I smurf and duo with a friend. You know why? Because there are still plenty of toxic players and people that remain boosted from dynamic queue in this game.
I'm fine with solo/duo.
It was nice to be able to play with just one friend.

Why do they have to force duos upon solo players for the sake of avoiding feelings of loneliness and practicing bot lane synergy?
Can't they just go into the Flex Queue for that? Seems like a poor excuse for not taking that small extra step to make Solo Queue perfect.
Chances are when the pro and high ranked players were asked this, they weren't informed of the Flex Queue being an option you could choose alongside Solo Queue, I could be wrong though.
In the comments, they state they cojsidered it, but decided to fall back on a more proven system. Also, if they have to move Fled queue to 5-man only, there would be literally no comoetetive queue that you can readily play with a friend. They took a conservative approach, that allows them to remain more flexibile as the playerbase adjusts and they can see where things settle.
Yeah I was quoting someone who seemed to be giving riot's statements on the issue, my desire still stands strong.
They could always bring back duos if the 5-man thing happens. Otherwise, pure Solo Queue PLOX!
Forcing duos to play in Flex Queue is the thing most likely to make sure Flex Queue doesn't become 5-man only.
This is a completely reasonable and long sought after change (probably since duos have existed from what I hear).

I hear in season 9 they are going to have SR rank as a 1v1, but people are still complaining that another person is on the map killing them. At the same time people are bitching about how snowball the game is and that their is no one to save them from the hacker on the enemy team.
