Kayn wasn't put in this time by accident, Riot said they'll be fixing it so that he can only go shadow assassin in Blood Moon, but he will be added into the game mode next time. Riven was not in the original first Blood Moon she was only in the last Blood Moon because of the event, she's not an assassin similar to how Yi isn't there either. Pantheon and Camille have always been there.
