How do you deal with AFKers ? I'm about to stop League.

Hello ! First off, I'm not a ranked ragekid who's trying to get out of the ELO hell or whatever. I'm an healthy positive player who doesn't want to play ranked and who just wants to enjoy some games by week or less.

Toxic players are not a problem anymore for me, the mute button does the job. What breaks my enthousiasm are the shameless AFKers. Those kids who say "Need to eat" then leave in the middle of a game, or those who want to finish the game by feeding before going afk.

What I think unbelievable are the players who seem to activate an hack, a script to avoid Leaverbuster. This is INSANE !!! In the past days I've seen two guys who were just moving around the fountain every 2 or 3 seconds to avoid the leaverbuster. Tell me what can we do against that ? What can I do ? I just feel like an hostage in these situations. Every time I see that, I just want to uninstall this broken game. How can I enjoy playing League after doing my best to forget every annoying things about the community or the game balance (I admit that Riot did some great efforts the last months), when some people prevent me from playing ?

As players, we're facing too many obstacles to just have fun. This. is. crazy.

PS : In the past days I played 3v5 at least two times.

As players, all we can do is report them every time and hope they add up enough.

We also need to urge Riot to put more resources in to investigating reports as it seems fairly obvious that the system is either entirely automated or at least partially automated (e.g. Riot won't look at it until it reaches a high threshold). We possibly need to convince Riot that occasional toxicity is NOT ACCEPTABLE. By this I mean, Riot seems to think that a player who is positive-neutral 80% of the time and trolls/afk's 20% of the time is a neutral player. This isn't right because whoever is stuck with that player in those 20% of games only sees a negative player and doesn't care if they're positive otherwise.

Reports do nothing. It is brutal. 6 ranked afk's in my last 15 games.

This doesn't work. LeaverBuster detects "useless" actions like just walking around the base.

You can also file a postgame report for AFK; if they get enough of them Riot will look at them. If you feel they require personal attention, try a Support ticket.
