When you say her damage was gutted in half better mention you refer to one single ability and not her whole sources of damage, her base stats got buffed, her attack speed even if you are to blindly to read everything is just a straight buff, she now have always bonus attack speed not only when she's casting something, AND when she cast an ability she get triple that amount, that being still higher at any rank than her old attack speed (up to 120% attack speed tho, but i understand if that is considered half of 90% somehow), her Q get mana reduced (after they alerdy buffed her mana lmao),her W got and very unnoticeable reduction on damage, the only thing halved was her gap close damage. She still will do insane amount of damage just from her auto passive and Q.
She was overkill before anyway, now she's just one shot, that not makes her any healthier, the thing that her dash is more accesible now just make her more unbalanced and toxic because her lane phase was her only weak point of the game.
Oh and a little small detail, very insignifiant, her old R did damage on a single target, now her new R is Malphite ult, but even more damaging, the only reason no big faces like streamers still complains about it is because it is literally first day of rework, I bet if you will compare in few days her winrates in plat+ will see even an increased banrate or winrate comparing with last patch. Btw 49% wr plat, 51 dia, 60% MASTER, 70% GRANDMASTER, those winrates seems pretty low alerdy right? Do you think they will decrease now that she have an aoe nuke cc in her kit and more mobility early but less damage on the dash!?
