Bronze teamwork is literally the most beautiful thing

I am by no means a "pro" or even good player in my own personal opinion, I mean I usually win lane more than I lose, but nothing very skilled. I really appreciate everyone in bronze that actually is willing to listen to people, I win almost 100% (probably literally 9/10 games) when people listen. WE can be down 40-20, have lost every lane, but the beautifullll part of bronze is people ALWAYS make mistakes you can literally COUNT on a game-changing mistake, you just have to hope your team+yourself picks up on it and reacts smartly. Example, an enemy goes into our jungle alone late game cause he thinks, oh well we're winning by a lot no harm, we catch him and can turn for a push to win, things like that.

The main point of this post is a shout out to every single one of you actual teamwork players, people who not only listen but are willing to take intiate and make calls themselves, I am extremely proud of my last game because we were arguing and being bitter and almsot everyone of us was ready to surrender, but I caught a glimpse on my minimap of two enemys warding our jungles so i instantly spammed pings and all caps GO hahaha dispite the horrible call method it really worked, my team reacted like we were a premade 5, and we got dragon and mid inhib because of it, my team wanted to continue pushing but as I tab'd I seen everyone was back up so again I pinged like crazy and pleaded for them to leave even theo they were dead set on winning, they listened. Later, we caught another enemy off guard because of another ward and good call (not myself this time, will give credit to our amumu jungle) and we pushed to win because of it.

TL;DR: Wards win games. Pings win games. Making calls wins games. Please try to be a teamplayer above everything else, I'd rather a toxic idiot spamming me and being annoying who will listen and play as a team than a nice teamplayer who won't listen or is just oblivious to the minimap/team. I think everyone just needs to remember its a 5 man team game, this isn't cod or a game where you can ALWAYS carry once fed and just win no matter if your team sucks or not or even tries, this actually does require synergy to some degree, and teamwork literally wins games.

Lucky... im always stuck with the egotistical gamethrowers while the people you are talking about are on the enemy team

Wards are love. Wards are life. Love life. Love wards.

It's called micro manage. Anybody who played guild wars 1 at a high level back in 2006-2012 learned to do this. MICRO DEM TO UR WILL MATE!

KING ATTILA3/4/2015, 7:40:04 PM2 votes

huh, that's funny. Usually I get noobs calling me a retard when im trying to lead these dumbasses. And no, I'm not toxic about it either.

SpagootGG3/5/2015, 1:26:57 PM2 votes

That is how I won my promo series. Won two, lost two, losing the final game, and just said, "Chill, guys. This is bronze. They WILL make a game-throwing mistake if we just keep our heads and work together." Lo and behold, the enemy did... and raged mightily when their 45 second death timers handed us the win.

Dengeden3/5/2015, 7:33:33 AM1 votes

Hehehe, and here I thought you were going to allude to ye old: "Ok, guys, laning phase is over. Group mid and never leave until the game ends?" "... no?" "What?! Every man for himself then!"

Funnily enough, even in situations like these, wards usually win the game :^)

I was duoing with a friend who is in Bronze (he really shouldn't be... He was silver 2 last season, and just got a train wreck of afk/dc in his provisional and went 2/8 haha... down to Bronze 4).

Anyway, yea people just don't ward. They aren't dicks about it, it's just in most games with low Bronze, it's just a non-existent factor in the game. I was mid and I had to buy sightstone because the support flat out refused to buy it, and I didn't want to start bitching them out for the rest of the game...

I love when you end up 'grouping' and it's a 5-man blind bush face check haha. With the ridiculous team comps consisting of 2 adcs and 3 poke mages, all of us walking in a clusterfuck from bush to bush is amazing when we are against a somewhat competent Nunu. The shenanigans that occur in the jungle is like a big fucking pitch black hedge maze.

I only do ARAM but it holds true, if we work together and focus on a goal it works.

It's not so bad, you just can't be glorifying yourself in the process-- it helps to lend a sense of force to each players' contributions

Same, just yestday i was playing with an Olaf and a vi who didn't want to participate it obvious of what would become a team fight, instead they wanted to farm or take blue/red buff, while the other stomped on us as soon as they saw they were in bot/top while the rest were in mid. And when they did want to participate they both ulted in at random times while we were defending, we would try to help but they died before we could get there. Then flamed us for not helping

ßongs3/5/2015, 1:55:03 PM1 votes

I'm usually the one to have one of my teammates running through the jungle alone and throw the game for us because they don't listen :D but i agree you do win the games ppl listen

You are all amazing and I love that the community is better than I ever believed, we can change the toxicity, we can DO IT

XaviorZeroBlazer3/6/2015, 12:40:41 AM1 votes

I'm disappointed with myself, I only ward more than 22% of supports and 58% of players in general. I must step up my ward game

after we (me) got riven her penta.... she was like

You are so enlightened. Please teach us the secret to League of Legends that nobody has discovered ever for the entire time League of Legends has been a game.

DaCush3/4/2015, 5:18:18 PM1 votes

I know exactly what you are talking about OP. It's so amazing when your team actually works together and gets towers, rotates to other lanes to get towers when the enemy is stopping you from taking a different one, everyone pushing the lanes to get map pressure, and most importantly getting dragon. Before when Dragon was just worth gold it was almost impossible to get your team to take it down, even right after killing both the bottom laners. Now that Riot changed it to actual effects/passives that you receive from it, most bronze players will actually go for it now and it makes the game a lot more enjoyable when there's another objective to fight iver. Bronze teamwork is rare, but when it happens it's glorious and A LOT of fun and you win

UnSeenDeath883/4/2015, 5:22:32 PM1 votes

To contrast this, my last ranked game, I had a blitz supp on my team, I don't know what his problem was but he didn't take sightstone or a gold item, and then for over half the game he afk farmed top lane. For awhile even though we were behind at mid game we could still win in the 2-3 v 2-3 person skirmishes that happened, but everybody for the most part was off doing their own thing, somebody was pushing bot, somebody was mid, our support was top. It's games like that that piss me off, and make me wish I had a ranked team to play with.

Raxicor3/4/2015, 6:17:54 PM1 votes

I have the same sort of thoughts. Like I tried ranked this season just to see what would happen and I got placed in Bronze. I played a few within the division and found the experiences to be better than I thought(based on board complaints). Like there's a lot less flaming than there was in my promos.

Kitten of Evil3/4/2015, 6:30:50 PM1 votes

I have been lucky enough to have 3 games with great teams like that in my solo queue provisionals... and 3 wins with those teams. I honored every single teammate afterwards. Communication is the single most important thing (also warding).

KING ATTILA3/4/2015, 11:56:57 PM1 votes

Welp, I begged my team to stay grouped. What do they do? The exact opposite. Was I toxic? Fuck no. Will I sugar coat everything I say on the forums? Fuck no.
