game types being removed

I have an honest qustion, and if for some reason theres a simple answer by all means solve my confusion. I was wondering why game types like one for all, mirror games etc are always taken out, I understand theyre like promotional/holiday type events or what not, but still why can't we have these modes in custom? I'm bored of ranked at the moment, and blinds a bit stale too, but I love playing games where we can 5 man blitz or something retarded but funny, it usually gets me outta the lump i get into when I play too much league and dont wanna play anymore

I know it's fun, but the temporary nature actually makes it more fun/not stale.

They did made one game mode permanent, Dominion.

...

......and it consists of NO ONE.

And I don't want that to happen to other new game modes.

They also made ARAM permanent. But that was after the mode was proven to have a strong following over a very long period of time (years).

Dominion had a strong following too. The main problem was that Riot proceeded to pretend the mode didn't exist for 2 years immediately following launch. It's nearly impossible to maintain a playerbase when the developers continually make promises they never keep.
