Is Alistar Fun?

He's pretty easy to use and provides some great peel that's nearly unavoidable, plus serves as a really strong tank when his Ult is up. It's up to you to decide how fun it really is :P

You don't really have to debate if he's worth it, though. You can get him for free. Riot used to offer him through a Youtube promotion, but the redemption process was broken for a long time so they removed it. You can still get him simply by submitting a Support Ticket with the title "Unchained Alistar" (the skins come with the champion). He is fun to play but id warn you that he is hard to play with lag due to his combo needing to be times correctly. He also does not work well with all ADC champs, for me I cant work well with Twitch or with Vayne. On the other hand he is probably the best or second(after braum) best supp to pair with Kalista. All in all id say to buy him cus hes only 450 ip and try him in a normal or a couple bots/custom matches to get his combo timed well and he is super fun to play.

Since the nerfs he is not as strong. I personally found him gameplay pretty boring along with . The cooldowns to his abilities are pretty high and they cost quite a bit of mana. I found him a bit harder to use in early laning and Leona was incredibly simple and most satisfying.
