But in all seriousness, I find mid lane 
really fun. His all in combo deletes, especially if you only hit the champ and not minions or jungle camps with your ult. Build rylai and your basically giving them a perma slow between your q and w

A trend I've noticed with a lot of my own picks id
- very dramatic ults (e.g. Jhin, Noc)
- SO much room for mind games, and silly stuff, just having a good time no matter how the match is going (bard, singed, shaco, to an extend blitz ect...) (most actually fit here)
- really cool things you can do (e.g. Azir)

I just recently learned that those weird people who never thank me as a support when I support(carry) them into late game are called ADC's, so I only just have two.
I also feel like I'm missing a champ or two...
