Cassiopeia visual "update"?
More like a visual regression. I could pick apart every skin except Mythic Cass, but this one stood out as the worst VU i've ever seen. Click picture for the larger pic (from surrenderat20) below.
What is this exactly? This isn't the skin I purchased. Every single aspect of this great and unique skin was destroyed. Look at the corset, it goes from deep black with a bunch of amazing details to what looks like literally water damaged and color drained bluish grey rags. The gloves and necklace have all of the same detail regression. The "scales" on her lower half went from amazingly detailed realistic looking black/grey with yellow fade rattlesnake scales to something that looks more like brown eagle feathers than anything I can liken them to. The same terrible detail in the scales is present on all the other skins being "updated" too.
And the hat.. What is this? Again the rich deep black color is gone but this time replaced with some nasty brown that doesn't match or visually pair with anything else on the skin. We lost every single amazing detail in the hat but got a fatter trim and a large ugly asian style beaded necklace on it?
I bit my tongue when you turned classic Karthus from vibrant red to watered down pink, Phantom Karthus went from deep black to muddy grey, Grim Reaper Karthus from deep vibrant purple to what vaguely resembles cloth that used to be purple. Same with Twitch, the models were amazing but most of the bold colors of each skin were washed away. But really this is an all time low, why are you guys calling these detail deletions visual updates? You got rid of all the ornate details and rich colors and left us with something that vaguely resembles the originals. I'd like to hear someone with an art background at Riot explain this one away because I can't find a single place where I can justify this as an update or upgrade.
I feel like Gordon Ramsay looking at a piece of rubbery overcooked chicken.
