Itemization on ADC (when to buy life steal?)

So as a main support, I started playing ADC a little this pre season. I usually buy 3 crit item's in a row, because it seems to be pretty normal. By the time I finish those critical strike items, the enemies have a good amount of armor, so I then buy lord dom's, and I notice a huge power spike in damage after that. Then I'm on my last item, and I always feel torn between Guardian Angel, or lifesteal, in most cases I feel like I want the Scimitar.

But looking at the blade of the ruined king's stats, doesn't this life steal option seem the best for last item? Decent AD, extra AS, useeful active, and the passive would absolutely drain the hell out of anyone you AA. Dealing that extra 8% of current health every aa? And if you do buy the Blade of Ruined King last item, you've already got your armor pen, and a lot of attack speed, so you're extra damage is going to hit hard and fast.

Anyway, i'm plat 2, I'd love some feedback from higher elo ADC mains. Appreciate it.

I don't play adc nor am i high elo but I was just curious if you couldn't just get away with taking bloodline in the precision tree for a fair amount of games. or at least use that with holding your dorans to allow you to build your lifesteal item dead last.

Also if you could just comment on when to build last whisper item relative to life steal item for the people in my elo who will read this, I'd greatly appreciate it. I die a little inside when we're losing to a tanky team and I notice my adc has a blood thirster and no LW item.
