Climbing out of Bronze

Is it even still possible to climb out of bronze?

With how snowbally this game is if a lane is lost the game is lost.

When I play ADC and I manage to go even as a late game carry like Twitch vs someone like a Caitlyn or Draven then someone else is always fed on the other team.

So I stopped playing ADC and I went TOP so I can split push with Tryndamere. End up at enemy T2 doing a 1v2 or 3 and my team uses that time to farm our jungle.

End up going Jungle and get my ADC fed or getting fed myself I ult their carry as Vi and one-two shot him. My team waits till they focus me down before engaging one at a time.

It starts getting silly when you fight hard to get that 18-20 LP per win because a losing streak fuct you over so hard cause you got a night full of trolls and rage quitters and then the their are still matches you lose fair and square.

Seldom I see a troll on the opposing team but I tell you I get them a lot on mine.

But if anyone has any tips for me on how to improve my own play please check out my opgg or you know the sites where your games are recorded.

I'll take any and all advice as long as it helps me improve enough to get to silver at least.

Please. Desperate Bronze5 Player.

hey man, can I be perfectly blunt and honest?

If you can't escape bronze you likely belong there, or relatively around there.

Embrace it, buy the bronze darius skin, just win in bronze .

your alternative is thinking you're getting robbed out of something that isn't given, it's taken.

You gotta get better to get out of bronze. Part of that is mindset. What are you doing constantly? Are you planning 30 seconds ahead? a minute ahead? five minutes?

Are you good mechanically?

What do you do with your lead? What do you do when the entire enemy team roams bot and you're a top laner without TP?

At the start of every game mute everyone; your team the enemies everyone. - This will help you to just focus on YOU as that's what the game is all about in the long run of things YOU, not listening to 5 year olds bitch and complain.

Top-Jng-Mid-Sup-Adc

Support - If you know what you're doing you can actually win the most from this lane believe it or not, because it helps eliminate a role that most players get stuck in and feed because either they don't want to die or die trying to make a play to win the game but save their KDA so if they do lose they have a reason to bi$ch on the boards about how they are getting bad teammates with their KDA.

TOP - Another role that you really need to think about the bigger play of things. I recommend playing Chogath Gragas Malphite Maokai Nautilus as it's much easier to get yourself and your team ahead by just building tank and being in every teamfight getting 2-3 assists will stack up for your items than it is to play a split push style where most likely you teammates won't help you, you don't have proper vision and you just die for nothing because in lower elo people don't know what objectives are so they won't get free dragons or towers when they see you 1v3 at top as a split pusher.

JNG - Honestly stay away from this role. Lower elo players are all bad in lane that they all will ping the S$it out of you to gank and you can't be in 3 places at once. Constantly 1-2 levels behind the enemy laners if not more levels depending on you teammates feeding or not, having to jungle which is much harder these days and needing to steal every dragon, it starts to build up and you will be in some elo hell if you play this role. ( this is just from my own experience with the role)

ADC - Give this role to some kid who cries if their not the ones getting the kills and just tank everything if your the support or tank top/jng. You want the person who is afraid about their KDA to be on the carry than you if you know what you're doing.

MID - Roam early push the wave, either getting 25% or 50% of the cs but just roam to bot with your most likely cc/stun/root/slow meta mid as well as the meta cc/stun/root etc support to pick up easy kills and dragon vision/focus to get an early snowball created.

I mean I would have to see you play to figure out what your worst offenses are, as it is you are kind of at the lowest point on the totem pole. You can honestly probably work on everything.

Well if I see you play I can tell you why you suck but here is probably why from what I see since my normal mmr is wood basically:

Horrid sum spells and randomly using it.

Can't hit skill shots. Don't even bother playing Lee in wood.

You overstay in lane when you have 20% hp and die.

Overextended and don't ward

You chase.

You can't farm.

You go after kills and never objectives.

I'm also playing on euw, add me and we shall talk. I might as well spectate a game of yours if you want. Haven't played a lot of ranked this season, last season I was p1 tho.

Thanks guys for all the advice. I'll really take it to heart even the more blunt ones.

Funny enough accepting you're a bronze level player and just doing your best being bronze seems like the one that resonates with me the most.

I think it's the "if you keep learning and doing your best you'll succeed" in me that is making it Hard to Accept (name of my mixtape) staying in bronze forever.

But oh well. Live and let live.

Thanks again guys.

I've imposed a limit on myself when it comes to ranked games. I play only 2-3 ranked games per day then just have fun on normals. If I lose one ranked game, I immediately stop playing ranked for the day and try again the next day. At least this way I dont create a losing streak and fall straight back down to Bronze V.

Mash Eve and Kha every game. Lux and Twitch are others. Freelo retard champs up to Diamond.

Cocho2/2/2017, 9:08:13 PM1 votes

You should play a champ that could snowball early

Although, I'd recommend trying out jungle and/or mid. They have more impact on other lanes than ADC. You'll climb faster.

u need to tell ur team what to do or your not gonna get anywhere dont give me the "they wont listen" excuse either. even i cant use that one.

SrbLud2/2/2017, 4:05:40 PM1 votes

Practice. All there is to it. Some people just play the game and presume experience with the game will be enough. Learn to freeze lanes. Practice csing under pressure. Play other roles in normals to get familliar with their thought processing and how they might affect your lane in ranked. This is all generalised but that's the jist of it. Learning this should be enough to get you out of bronze.

WitchQueen Annie2/4/2017, 8:07:19 AM1 votes

Just play Annie. Farm safely to 6, buy a cheap Empty Tome or 2 for the 100-0 capability.

Flash combo their mid laner to death a few times... roam bot to snowball your other lane.

Focus on defending and attacking towers. TOWERS win wars, not kills.

PING YOUR TEAM (most of the time they will respond). The important things to Ping for are:

  1. MIAs
  2. Don't Over Stay
  3. Attack Tower (not chase the champions)
  4. Defend Tower
  5. Don't Take Dragon/Baron (or Take it)
  6. Don't Chase

Stage 1: Destroy your lane Stage 2: Roam to bot Stage 3: Take Tier 1 and Tier 2 Towers, Defend Tier 1 and Tier 2 Towers (Ping as necessary) Stage 4: Do NOT siege Tier 3 Towers unless your comp is good at it. Instead, try to get your team to camp and bait Baron. Make a few picks, then take Baron, group Mid, go forward, take down a few structures and then RETREAT before its too late. Rinse and repeat until you win.

I see this same type of post often. It is rare that a single player can carry the entire game by themselves. This is a team game, so what you need to do is review the games you've played to find those other players who you worked well with. Invite a dozen of them to be your friends so that it is likely there will always be 1 or 2 on to play with you when you get on. You need a partner or two to climb the league ladder. Few can do it alone.
