Uh, Remake still works, even though someone died.
When was this a thing? I remember it saying if there was a first blood, Remake is unavailable...

I've never had a problem remaking after first blood.
I know, but its just queues take so long, and when you get to one, someone dodges and IF THEY DONT, Someone fails to connect, someone gets a kill, and then they go off with a remake. It pisses me off really.
I think the vote already called so it ok to die when the vote already out there; I think.
No. The Jungle Yi basically went to dance mid lane, because the mid had dc'd. 2 minutes in. not even a second after. By the time we realized we came to kill him and we got the kill. about 2:30. laning starts then /REMAKE
It only applies under specific criteria.
Will edit post when I find them.
EDIT: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/player-behavior/play-games-matter/remake
UPDATED: If any player is dc’d or flagged afk for at least 90 seconds at the three minute mark, a /remake is available UPDATED: A first blood against a player’s team before they leave/dc prevents a remake vote
They changed the idea after they realized enemy teams would level 1 dive the team with 4 players just to get first blood and cancel the remake option.
That sucks. I had the idea that a first blood would cancel it this whole time. Kind of a bummer, that I raged at the enemy for that. I'm kinda embarrassed.
No worries, it happens to the best of us! Basically people were abusing the team with a DC though and forcing them to play, so they changed the mechanic a bit.
Most people leave for the community. But I stay for it. Thank you for the info!
they changed it
First blood only cancels if they AFK happens after it. If someone is DCed from the start of the game, and then first blood occurs, remake will still go through
