How does the Grading system really work?

I just got out of this^ game and I got an A instead of an S. In case I posted it wrong, I was the ADC
and finished 11/0/1. The whole team scored 17/4/17. The enemy surrendered at 20:36.
So I received no deaths, and made 11 out of 17 of the kills, and no S? I'm not really mad ( is though) I'm just a bit confused as to why I didn't get it. Was it because they surrendered? Or was the game too short?
Edit: I'm sorry, not ............what I meant was
and I'd get an s- or s and hed get a or a+.
It's really strange, I noticed its only when he plays draven he almost never gets an s ranking, doesnt matter how well, so I think its the fault of the champion- may be a glitch or something? I'm not saying its impossible to get an s ranking with draven as hes gotten it several times, but I'm almost positive somethings strange with dravens grading system. Just wanted to share somethin i noticed..
