You can no longer even try to gank before level 6. I didn't hit level 3 until, blue, red, wolves and scuttle. Meanwhile, duo Kayle and Malphite top lane are 3 levels ahead of me getting solo xp. You clearly didnt test this. You just ruined the jungler. Good job
Just leave jungle to all the cheese champs. It is ruined for any real interesting variety of play.
The part that seems hard to tolerate is how much of a team role the jungle became... as in now the jungler requires team mates to help out in order to keep up. It is too easy for a bad jungler to get ahead simply by having team mates that help with scuttle and early invades.
Some champions cant easily gank till level 6 ANYWAY and some champions CAN. Plus it was already known coming into this patch that the Rift Scuttler would be the main way to reach level 3 over your opposing jungler, promoting team play and contesting. And yes, this HUGELY affects which jungle champions are meta and which are left in the dust but we already see that in every other role. I'll specifically relate this to bot lane because it is more prominent there, hyper carry adcs with shielding or mage supports is the main meta. Other champions in bot lane are generally shoved out by them. This is the same situation with how contesting scuttle crab will affect the jungle meta but its always been like this one way or another. If you are attempting a normal clear, IGNORING THE SCUTTLE CRAB THAT RIOT HAS SO CLEARLY MEANT TO BE AN IMPORTANT OBJECTIVE, then you are playing yourself.
RIOT way to go on ruining the JG. look I admit i'm not be any means the best at this game, I'm still learning, but this change, OMFG. Even with power farming champs, the distance you have to cover to get your farm, and the time it takes to level now, I'm only lvl 4 when my mid and bot laners are hitting lvl 6-7 and you expect jg to be able to have meaningful ganks, YEAH RIGHT! Yeah you they are making the scuttle an important objective, but what if you pick a champ that can't contest pre lvl 6, this just places you farther behind your lanes and the enemy JG effectively taking you out of the game. God forbid if your laners are losing lane as well, your chances of having any impact on the map are gone, now your just feed for higher lvl champs. Even before this patch JG had to be very proactive to keep up in level with the laners, now there is no hope for us. BRAVO riot, BRAVO!
2 jungle camps + scuttle = 3? Like what xD
The whole point was to make it so junglers can't autowin a lane for their team after 3 camps. You only have to do an extra 1 or 2 camps to get to level 3 now. I'm sorry you can't out level your solo laners anymore while not even having to farm half the time.
