Shen isn't played anymore, anyone else notice that

Anybody noticed that no one plays shen anymore, i main top and jg, and used the old shen in top and jungle. Old Shen was played frequently in solo q and even profesional play, he was a threat to be reckoned with, now his hardly even used. I dont even play the new shen anymore even though i mained shen befor ehis rework. I believe that reworks should be for champs that don't even exist anymore, like yorick. Instead the rework turned a champ that is used frequently to a champ people forget about. League's recent rework on Taric has made him a popular pick in solo q, if he remains popular with weeks from come i won't be surprised, however with shen, he is now a less popular pick after his rework unlike taric.
