Suggestion to "buff" team-reliant champions

I feel like team-reliant champions are underwhelming in solo-queue, but no one wants to buff them as they would then be amazing in pro-play. (At least that's what people say.) I propose a faster method of communication to help these champions: custom pings. I think custom pings would allow players to communicate their thoughts better, helping these team-reliant champions. It might also make it easier to flame, but at least no one's dying while typing.

Any thoughts? I'm only level 12, so I'm not sure if this idea would negatively impact the game.
