So I know what you are thinking, Rek'sai top? That's dumb it sucks. Well my fellow summoner I beg to differ that idea. I've won many games playing her top, she and Vel'koz is what got me from B5 straight to B1 (until loosing streak happened lol). I learned a few fun things not only does she have great poke with her burrowed Q and sustain with her W passive but she is a living pink ward too. Yet fighting many various top laners (and the constant ganks from jg, bot, and mid in this new meta, uuugh) I found some pretty cool builds. Grab the summoner spells summoner 14 summoner 12 since you now have two teles and a finisher.

She's also a fantastic proxy farmer when ahead. Hilariously effective at rubbing it in when far ahead.

Reks top is extremely underrated. Hit level 6, roam around and put some tunnels everywhere then ulti back to lane and then you can ult to counter gank a jungler or teleport or just help a bot lane fight etc. then you have teleport to get back to lane. Use the mastery that gives summoner cd, lucidity boots and the upgrade and now you have a 2minute 40sec cd on teleport and your ults even less of a cd. Split push to victory and force the enemy top to stop you and then when your team engages ult or tp to the fight One thing I always wanted to try on reksai was ap reks mid. His w has such a crazy range. Ludens, death cap, etc... It could do some damage
