League Of Legends and You

Abstract Hello this is Alexjandro, A.K.A "Ryokuzo" wanting to inform players and the in-game community about team work, prioritization, and overall mental stability. Additionally I am neither a psychologist or sociologist but I will be applying what I've learned in those fields to the following text.

                                                                                               Priorities and Gameplay

So before heading into a longterm relationship with senselessly beating up enemies and crystals there's some things to consider. First check out which lanes you're best in (for me it's mid, top, and jungle) then consider you're least strong roles (im decent as support but a better adc). Secondly have a set team of two to three of your best champions for every lane, for me in order by lane and champion. Mid; Vel'koz, Veigar, Aurelion Sol, and Kha'zix. Top; Illaoi, Rek'Sai, Darius, and Kha'Zix. Jungle; Skarner, Shyvana, and Cho'Gath. ADC; Kog'maw, Quinn, and Twitch. Support; Thresh, Maokai, and Tahm Kench. Then take into the weakness of each champion, like melee sucks against range and stuns, mages don't do well against tanks, assassins, and most melee. Then after time work against their weakness to play against counters easier, like as Vel'koz people like Akali, Yasuo, Zed, and LeBlanc have always been an issue but after much work they're easier to deal with (until another lane feeds them). For masteries create ones for a specific champion and some for multiple champions (same goes for runes). That being said try to create mini goals for yourself in every match like have the least deaths, most towers taken, most kills, etc. it helps to have extra focus.

                                                                                           In-game community and you

Alright now for the tricky part. The LOL community is a very great and open group who enjoys everything LOL related. Yet much like with every other video game you're going to have those special few annoying people. So let's address them; you have trolls, quitters, blamers, ragers, and self enveloped people, heck you may be one yourself here and there. Thus to deal with them try to not fall into the same state of mind, try to reason, help them (babysit of you will), or simply mute them (don't say you muted them since they may annoyingly spam pings). Also if things go rough be understanding, other players may be having a hard day as well. Take breaks between matches or better yet reduce your hours of playtime to relax and devote your time to other things. Or even listen to some rockin' jams while you're at it. If you have family set up a schedule to be with them (unless they play LOL too then family lan party) or simply tell them "is there anything going on in the next hour? I'm going to play a match or two or three".

                                                                                                     Conclusion

Finally just remember there are players better than you try better, yes even the pros have struggles. Yet it's up to you to have fun and to truly enjoy yourself with friends, maybe go outside once in a while too. Remember also to not shell yourself from others be open to help and play more ARAM to relax, even form little groups with both real life and in game friends to have more enjoyable matches.

Sincerely, Ryokuzo.
