Do afkers even get punished?

I played a game today and of course like any other game, there was an afker on my team..

I guess he left because it wasn't going in his favor but he left So we had to surrender because we had no chance of winning and in the end game screen, instead of the name being red, for dc'ed, or afk, it was white like everyone elses. I report him of course and leave, then the next game, he's in it...? And he doesn't even do anything this time, so we had ff'ed at the three minute mark...

So do afkers really get punished on reports?

I was punished with 5 games of low priority que matches, I had to wait 20 minutes before each game would start so that's like 1 hour of time just waiting to get into a game.

I was real drunk and high while I was playing and don't remember how the night ended, the following day said I left too much or something I didn't quite catch everything.

So yeah people tend to get punished, it's just there's so many people it may seem like the same mistakes never get dealt with.

1 person gets punished and you have 3 more waiting to make the same mistake.
