Surrendering

As far as I myself am concerned, the number of players it takes to pass a surrender vote needs to be set to 3. The past couple games I have had a duo queue feed 11 kills each, troll, and not even communicate. I put up a surrender vote after losing countless teamfights which 3 out of 5 people agreed with. Then I get the response of "report tyhub for negative attitude, keeps putting up a surrender vote." This is really starting to ruin normal queue for me just because I am punished along with having to spend the next half hour losing horribly because we will not surrender. I agree with the "a game can turn at any moment" type of mentality, though when a 27-2 Diana starts to 3 shot everyone at 25 minutes while the 2 trolls laugh about it, it gets old fast. 3 out of 5 is majority vote, so why does it take 4?

Because it's not a majority decision, surrender is a qualified majority vote just like other important issues.

Report the trolls in end game and move on with life.

The philosophy behind "never surrender" is not at all "we can still win". It is "surrender undermines my will and resolve". When you go down undefeated, fighting to the last, it strenghtens your willpower. Citing Gat here, "victory doesnt matters, its the body count". Being a slave to objectives set to you by others is not what war is about.

On one hand, I always hate dragging out a losing match from 20 minutes to 40. On the other, I've been honestly surprised by comebacks/throws plenty of times. I think requiring 4 players is fine.
