I want a champion who has range, and has a medium skill floor and high skill cap, lots of outplay potential, and a huge impact in team fights. I was playing azir, but wow is he hard: http://imgur.com/AmIZIF9 So someone suggest something else plz.

range with a mid skill cap and high skill ceiling:
All of these fit the description, and there's a mix of AP (where I'd suggest you start since, if you've been playing Azir you most likely have mostly AP oriented runes?) and AD. Just about every ADC/mage fits - knowing when and how to use your skills to best affect and still be auto attacking is one of the hardest things to learn.
Thank you guys, but I would like a strong impact in team fights. I don't like just bursting down an adc, i prefer to stand on the backline and chew through both front and backline. What do you think?
great waveclear, aoe lockdown from gravity field, aoe ult from chaos storm give him great teamfight potential.
Machine gun mage w/ zoning potential and a great ult that you can use aggressively or reactively.
simple to pick up but high skillcap, multi man ult can completely turn around a teamfight.
