Bard synergy and the meta

Its going to be interesting to see bards impact on the Meta and what champs make a rise into popularity. I for one would like to see a champ like Kennen portal into an enemy team or champs without jumps being able to safely fight for dragon or baron.

I played him a few times on the PBE last night and my only concern is the pressure you have to gather your chimes can be a real distraction from the game. It's infinite scaling so people are going to want to colect as much as possible but you miss out on a lot of xp/gold in lane and put your adc in a bad spot if you roam too much. There's not always a good time to leave. Plus if he gets behind and pushed to tower he would get VERY behind since he can't collect his chimes anymore.

I think that Bard is supposed to emphasize that supports support the team, not just the adc. Like, early game the support duos with the adc for a reason, but come mid-game the adc shouldn't need as much help.

I think Bard is going to start teaching lower-level tiers of players to start buying wards instead of relying on trinkets or their support to ward for them. Adc's will learn to 1v1 when appropriate, even mid-game, and to keep vision up so they don't get outnumbered and can call their team for help. And players are going to learn that a support's utility is useful for any player at any point in the game, not just the adc.

maybe someones gonna make jungle bard a thing, no idea how but people are weird like that ;l
