if Vladimir's Q healed off of a percentage of hp damage

As an oppressive top/mid laner that needs very little effort to outlane his opponents, he needs some counterplay. Right now his sustain through his q is too rewarding without a window of counterplay for his opponents.

What i want to suggest is that if vladimir uses his Q on an opponent with an active shield morg Q, sion W, Diana W, etc, he should be only be able to heal off the percentage of the damage dealt to their hp, and that any damage dealt with Q blocked by any shields ahould not reward vladimir with percentage spellvamp. The percentage health vamped should relatively be similar to the base hp gain he currently gets

If you think about it, it's kind of weird that he steals the same amount of hp whether his Q is mitigated by a shield or not.

This is NOT a QQ thread, I just think its kind of weird how vlads q heal works right now and the spamability iin the lane s a little too extreme at 4 seconds for both q and e at max level. I don't see too many vlads these days, but when I went on my gold smurf for ranked 5s, Vladimir was a frequent pick in the toplane. That's where I noticed his presence during laning phase.
