Kaisa is quickly becoming my favorite champion in game as i play around with her on pbe so i figured i share some builds i have tried some for her and share my thoughts on pro and cons of each of the builds to help others who will want to try her and also to get other fews..

Crit build: Core-IE+zeal+Botrk. core is 10500 gold with boots. it is a relatively standard adc build and probably most well round has decent kiting with botrk you can go more bursty with shiv or more of a dualist/sustain dmg with pd. unlocks q and e by mid game for the inv for skirmishes and q for more dmg/wave clear. not much to say about build other than it is probably most well round

AP On hit build- Core:rageblade+witts end+nashor. core is 10100 gold with boots. Pros of this build 2 item power spike is pretty huge with rageblade and witts end synergy also unlocks your e at 2 items. On top of that it is pretty high sustain magic dmg (possibly highest sustain dmg) so if your team is stacked with ad can diversify dmg or good at shredding tanks in mid game. also core isnt that expensive. Cons- full build is pretty expensive as 4th item is a botrk and then typically into maw or ga. Also although it unlocks e w early it doesnt unlock Q until last item so pretty lacking on wave clear.

Gunblade build- Core-rageblade+wiitsend+gunblade. core is 10500 gold with boots. Pro of this build it is pretty much a pick build as it has decent burst dmg. W is unlocked once you get gunblade so you can hit some caught out with w from far range to apply 3 stacks on your passive quickly then ult in gunblade them for slow and dmg so they cant get away q then auto 2twice really quick to proc dmg from passive. also you can unlock all 3 abilities by 4th item if you by an item with ad as 4 item. Pro: probably lowest sustain dmg as your buying gunblade for burst and dont get q unlocked until 4th item. seems pretty good if your snowballing and can burst enemy carries easily.

those are my 3 favorite builds so far and would start with them but i also have 4 builds that felt ok you might also try.

ER build- Core- IE+zeal item+ER. core cost 10800. Pro of build lots of cdr so you can use your abilities alot which includes q to wave clear a lot and ult on low cd to pick people off. also with scales pretty well with so much ad. Cons- you need to buy a dagger before build ER to unlock e which isnt to bad cus you can build it into 2nd zeal item or botrk. if you go botrk as 4 item build gets really expensive also no room for utility items as you will probably finish it with botrk and a lw so no qss qa or maw.

Top build- Core: rage+botrk+frozen mallet- core cost 11200 gold. Pro pretty good split pusher especially if you are against a top laner that can be kited easily both botrk fronen mallet give you a ton of kiting potential very annoying to enemy if they cant all in reliably. Cons requires good map awareness as you only have your movement speed from e to get away reliably or trying to out play with ult and if you do fall behind because you play lane wrong or fall victim to ganks then you are pretty useless as you are squishy top laners with no real cc and really split at that point..

Completely standard ad build- Core: IE+shiv+rfc cost 9700 with boots. Pro cheapest build and synergize well for if you go fleet as your mastery. the cheap cost of this build allows it to operate decently if behind. Cons you only get e unlocked until your 4th item then you get q also which isnt that bad since the first 3 are so cheap.

AD on hit- Core: rage blade+Pd(could also do witts end)+botrk. cost 10700 gold. Pro very good at dualing with high sustain dmg. Con only unlocks e until you start on your 4th item.

Hope this helps anyone wanting to kaisa on release or trying to play her on pbe. for where i put zeal item i would normally suggest shiv or pd as they are best stand alone zeal items for her since rfc works better if you pair with atleast fleet and/or shiv and runaans i just feel is pretty awful on her since the 500 range auto make it really unlikely you will we get range bolts. I will probably continue to test these out until her release to get a better idea of which ones are the best.

nice post i just ran a game with the gunblade build going gunblade>zerks>guinsoos>runaans>IE and didnt finish IE. IT felt okay but I think I would rather upgrade Q sooner it took way too long with that build. I will probably end up sticking with the crit build since i like the QE upgrade and think W upgrade is kind of a trap but the 3 stacks is cool. [sg-jinx] this champ is soooo fun tho

First, I'd like to mention that it helps using the item icons to allow for easier reading.

That aside, I don't think item 3094 or item 3046 are the most effect Crit + AS items on Kai'Sa, as item 3085 applies on hit stacks, including her passive, which won't go away like Vayne silver bolts do. While item 3046 seems like it would be decent to use because of its ghost passive, item 3094 is not useful because she has the lowest ADC range in the game of 500 (tied with Lucian), and doesn't have a low CD dash like he does. While item 3087 wouldn't be bad, it's not working full time like item 3085. It's true that her core is item 3124 and item 3146, considering how well they synergize with her kit, and combined with item 3153 and item 3006 she'll have access to all of her passive buffs. This leaves room for one more item before selling boots, which is pretty nice. Armor shred would be ok to compliment the item 3153 damage, but her passive damage is magic, so that doesn't help. Accordingly, you could run item 3091, but then again, item 3020 is always an option. To me, if you're against tanks, run summoner 11 and build item 1416, which deals 4% max health in bonus physical damage and also gives you a slow for dueling. It also gives 50% AS, which puts you at the halfway mark for E, and at a low price of 2625 gold. After that, I'd sell boots for a damage item. If you're running with the summoner 11 route, then armor shred is more viable with as you have 2 %health bonus physical damage, so running item 3071 will shred 24% of their armor fast because of your huge AS. It also gives you 20% CDR, which is a nice bonus to her abilities.

I don't think building crit on her is a good idea, because with her short range and affinity to on hit effects, her team fights are going to be more utility oriented like Kalista.
