Can we talk about Season 9 even before it happens?

With the new additions to Rune Attributes, and Shields on Towers. The game will change a lot in laning phase. Meaning you're going to have to face more torture in lane if the enemy team knows how to take advantage of the extended laning phase.

 Rune Attributes (The Rune extension, I don't know what to actually call it) is kind of a combination of the Old Runes and New Runes. Though I guess it can also be compared to the Old Mastery system. God I miss that. 

The things you can choose are Offense (+10 Adaptive Force, +9 Attack Speed, or %1-10 CDR based on Level) Flex (+10 Adaptive Force, +5 Armour, or +6 Magic Resist) Defense (+15-60 Health based on level, +5 Armour, +6 Magic Resist)

Along with the new changes of Bone Plating, Overgrowth, Dark Harvest, And the new addition of Shield Bash.

 Shield Bash is probably going to bring Tanks with Shields. Bone Plating seems to only help in the early game now. Overgrowth emphasizes more on late game. And Dark Harvest can now be used in laning.

 Dark Harvest is the only thing that concerns me. It's practically a scaling Sheen. Jungler's who use Dark Harvest might have to switch back to Electrocute or use Predator. I think because of this, early game junglers might come back. Like Elise or Lee sin for example. 

 I know Riot going to change it once they get feedback, but these new additions make me feel like it's season 7 again. 

 Also the new 5 Tower Shields. Currently most first turrets go down around 6-10 minutes. Sometimes more depending on how the lane is going. Increasing lane phase timers until 14 Minutes in. In which the Shields are removed.

Each Shield is 1000 Hp. Increasing the first turrets health to 5000. Only the first turrets of each lane has shields. Once you destroy one of the Shields, you are rewarded 160 gold, and the last shield rewards 210 gold. Meaning you'll get a total of 850 Gold for destorying all the shields. If it's the first turret, you'll get 1250 Gold. And if it's turrets after the first turret. Then you'll get 1100 Gold. Unless if you're destroying it with multiple people, where it will be spread evenly. 160 if alone, 80 if two, 53 if three, 40 if four, and 32 if five.

 So item power spikes will happen quicker, meaning it might cancel out the increased time of laning phase. Today's games for me usually last around 20-40 minutes. If it doesn't cancel the increased time. Game might go around 25-45 minutes. Unless if there's a hard snowball. Late game champions will definitely be played more.

Shield bash is going to be a massive problem on viktor top, and aside from that we really need to get RGM back, i get on every day waiting for URF (normal) 1FA, and like hexakill (maybe), i can play norms every day, but its draining as hell. Its a team game and with the game always being in a competitive state (even in normal games) it gets over the top to play over and over and over and over.... Seriously, someone needs to make game modes permanent or at least more frequent.

Now if you were around when the RGM que just came out, you will know the problems that arose, it came up every week making game modes excessively repetitive, but the problem was everyone played them to escape the repetition of normal games, the game modes above may be predictable and old, but its something, anything to do.

And if the excuse arises that it effects the games competitive nature, who the fuck cares? its pre-season, you fuckers either break the game or give me something to do.

Sorry this isn't entirely relevant, but i gotta tell you if i wasnt addicted to this game i would have been bored 5 months ago when i hit gold and stopped playing ranked.
