These tryhards in normals lately are ridiculous.

So I play new champs in normals as opposed to ranked, as I should be doing to get better with them. Lately though I've just been teamed with a bunch of toxic people that act like they're playing ranked. I know nobody wants to lose but when I'm playing my first or second game as a new champ and I get stuck laning against some guy playing his 500th game as darius or yasao it's inevitable that I'm going to lose my lane hard. I ping, I ward, and I try not to feed but I'm also still trying to learn the champ, so I'm not going to sit and do nothing. Usually people are pretty cool in normals but these last couple days the people were ridiculous, like if I've died twice, once solo and once to laner+jungler, they start flaming me for feeding. I personally find it entertaining when people get toxic at me, so it's not really a bother, but if I was a newer player it would put me off.

So remember, normals are not ranked. I know you've won 1000 games in summoner's rift, but the dude who just hit 30 hasn't even won 100. Stop acting like it's ranked or go back to playing ranked if you're that intent on winning.

I know a lot of people go into normal draft to practice for ranked though.

I'm fairly certain the ritual of having a practice game before heading into your ranked for the day is quite common as well.

Norms are still for winning, even when learning a new champ you gotta always put your best foot forward. I usually look up several guides before heading into norms with a new champ, to help better understand what I'm getting myself into before the game even starts.

You need to remember that this is a competitive game. Find 9 people who wish to play like you and create custom games and do whatever you wish. You sheep always whine and bitch about people getting mad at you for playing this way. Either deal with it by muting everyone or find friends with the same mindset as you and never have to deal with it. It's that simple. You and other sheep are wasting the time of people playing the game as RIOT intended. Argue all you want but you are 100% wrong to think that everyone should think like the sheep who created this stupid rule and they should give you a break because you are "practicing" a champ on their time. You and those like you are not GOD and what you say definitely is not going to fly with a lot of the player base. Stop being an entitled, spoiled child and be responsible for your own actions. I gave you solutions. Use them.
