So.... no URF for months?

I swore that when riot released the page about the rotating game mode they promised that we would be seeing urf more often, then when the (not nearly as fun) aram-urf came out they said they would be rotating urf and lameurf in the weekend game modes, but yet no info on what we are getting and urf has been gone for a long time. We don't need you to try and balance it. The mode is fun because of all the unbalance. Right now is the perfect time for urf do to the new 10 ban system, cause even if you think something shouldn't be in urf everyone gets to ban something.

I will say their exact words on this one.

"You will be seeing Urf at least twice this year"

We did see it at least twice, I just wish it was more than twice though.

I dont understand the fascination with urf. I enjoyed it the first time they did it but it had 0 replayability for me. Just not any fun.

Showdown on the otherhand. The 1v1s are hella fun. and the 2v2s arent bad either. But i dont think we will ever see those again.

Their excuse before was that other game modes weren't supported by the new client. Given that the client is out of beta, we should be seeing a greater variety of modes in the future, including past ones like One-for-All, URF, etc. (Edit: my mistake, we have seen ARURF on the new client, but this reasoning stands for any mode that hasn't been on the new client yet. As for URF/ARURF....beats me)

I was someone who preferred ARURF, I felt the fun of URF was trying new things and never knowing what was going to happen. But URF got stale really quickly as people always picked the same OP picks and a sort of meta settled in. The Randomness fixed this, and made it a mode of mayhem again. There's no saying that both can't exist in the Rotation, though.

They need a reason to sell you URF related stuff. They couldn't charge you for regular water, it has to be Sparkling Glacial Climate Doom Trump water, sourced from the real tears of glaciers and nursed in the echos of splitting ice formations. The rarer it is, the more valuable it becomes.
