League now hell for solo players?

Solo player here. I haven't noticed any difference in my games. I'm sure there are premades, but unless I get 5 man ganked I usually won't take notice. I think people are just using it as an excuse for their losses. I continue to hold essentially the same win-rate, and I'm still steadily climbing.

I think people are just looking for something to blame. The only time I'm ever (a bit) frustrated is when I'm in a full premade team, which is extremely rare (stats support this, so don't say every game you play is a premade, because it's not). Honestly, if 4 man queue was disable, that one frustrating game after like 50 would probably go away. Other than that, I love the new champion select and people seem WAY less toxic now that they get the roles they want. I think Riot did a solid job with DQ, it just needs some improvements now.

I've always been a solo player.

I enjoy playing this game just as much as I've enjoyed it over the years. I'm not picky nor do I care much about wins/losses.

At the end of the day this is just a game and life will go on I promise you.

nah, im on a constant cycle of climbing to gold then declimbing back down to S3/S4. its a nightmare. im hardcore tilted from it tbh which makes my games even worse. its pretty obvious that regardless of skill level, a organized team with communication will ALWAYS beat a team of unorganized players with zero communication and who constantly trash talk each other.

i play exclusively as a solo player, and the amount of feed that happens is annoying. i dont give a fuck what people say about "its your fault for not 1v5 carrying" but the PROBLEM here is that line of logic no longer works this season with dynamic que. it is EXTREMELY hard/damn near impossible to carry as a solo player vs an organized team, especially when your own team refused to listen to the 1 guy not in a fucking skype call with them.

yup, it's hell covered in chocolate sauce that isn't chocolate... It's poo.

BUT, sometimes a decent game rolls along without any fuckery, where people know how to play their roles competently and there's actual teamwork.

But mostly it's a pile of warm poo.[slayer-jinx-unamused]

strictly solo player. Yes it's hell, most of the games where I have a premade on my team or the enemy is a premade it's an insta loss 70% of the time regardless of how well I play. The 30% of the time that I do win though tend to drag on forever due to the premade either refusing to group and take objectives or they engage alone with their friends without the rest of the team being there.

What's worse is that you can't even tell them to stop because then you'd get bombarded with insults and report threats or they ignore you for the rest of the game and refuse to help you with anything.

It's completely opposite though with a team of solos. I win more than I lose, players actually listen to calls, and I rarely ever get toxic dickheads who talk shit. DQ seems to bring out the worst in people and whenever I see a premade in my games I've began to dodge.

I'd rather lose 4LP and wait 5 minutes than waste 30+ minutes in a game with 3 assholes and lose 21LP

Yes, but it's not bad because of duos/trios/quads. It's more bad because of flamers and people who give up 5 minutes in.

been saying since day one, there should be a solo ranked system where no one can team, not even duo. Be amazing, since no one will be boosted thus every one will be where they belong.

I have found that to play solo you need to take a different approach. make friends with the others in your games, and make mock teams to progress. this emphasises working as a team and makes being a toxic fuck much less capable. if anything, this is a good thing.

The game became less and less enjoyable for me ever since Preseason, and DynamicQ was a nail in the coffin. I went from playing multiple games daily to usually playing one or two a day. Now that i found a new game i can put alot of time into i realized something...

League kinda blows now. Havent played since Tuesday and i have little to no desire to play it anytime soon.

It's better now that I've gone back to playing Teemo every game. Selling my soul to the devil helped as well.

Yes. I don't even bother with it anymore, between the abomination called DQ, the clusterf*ck called balance and the constant introduction of more and more tedious elements. I've gotten completely fed up with the game. I heard Qtimes are getting even more attrocious than ever, this makes me happy in a spitefull way. Which itself is just sad.

People talk about games becoming stagnant if they don't change, but what is the point of change for the sake of change? How much has any major sport changed over the last decades? How popular do you think soccer would be if we all of a sudden changed the rules so that you now have to use ice-hockey clubs to play it? Me personally, I think people would abandon soccer and start watching icehockey, basketball, rugby or any other sport instead. Something that's close to perfected doesn't need much change, League has reached and left that stage long ago, sadly.

yes i am. Majority of the games I lose are due to at least one of these reasons:

1. Someone on the enemy gets super fed and snowballs.
2. Enemy premade groups up while my team does not and we end up dying in these bad fights (3v5,1v3, etc). Basically, a coordinated team vs. an uncoordinated team.
3. I have an afk.

You might think of these reasons as excuses but this is just my own experience. People should speak for their own experiences rather than joining on bandwagons.

You must be new... it's been like this for a while now. Look up "Dynamic Queue" and you'll learn why. It's only gonna get worse too.

What they need is a hard reset at the start of next season, and then to split solo and duo+ mmr so it doesn't feel like your getting punished for playing solo. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

Ok so every Solo Player has this problem.Seriously the ones who wanna duo or trio etc are probably kids who are afraid of playing ranked alone.they dont know how to play the game.and solo players have to deal with their raging/flaming(rawr) all game.Riot has completely forgotten the purpose of ranked in the first place . RANKED IS FOR YOU TO IMPROVE AND SHOW YOUR INDIVIDUAL SKILL not to go and play with friends.The only place where playing with friends should be allowed are normal games and other gamemodes which arent Ranked Games.Seriously i made it to gold 2 last season.Now im currently sitting in silver 3.I have been playing for about 3 - 4 years.Seriously.People never asked for dynamic queue(except dem scared raging kids) , we only asked for a fair matchmaking system(which is definitely not dynamic queue) , a new champ select so we can get the roles we want in ranked , and some other stuff riot still doesnt give a damn about.(I tried my best not to say anything negative this post,it was hard,I am salty , and for obvious reasons).Seriously anything before season 5 was great.Seasons 5 and 6 in my opinion are the worst in league of legends history.

The majority of times that i've been the fifth on a four-person premade, it's been a pleasant experience.

Usually one of the four explains to me something like "Oh hey! Me and my buddy here are going to try (X). Do you mind if we (swap roles, don't ban this champ, etc)?".

It's quite nice actually. Maybe i'm just getting lucky.
