Please, inform me why anybody should pick the new Yorick.

He lacks mobility, he's not nearly as strong as an early game bully as other toplaners like Darius, his ultimate is hilariously buggy, and his CC is breakable and small. While people like Sion who also lacks mobility is bulky enough to survive just by walking away with his shield and has nice CC and damage. Yorick can't do that. Plus sion and EVERY other champion in the game has something Yorick doesn't have, a passive. Yorick's current passive should just be apart of his Q! It's inconsistent and most the time is useless, especially in the early game where he should be strong! Even old Yorick had a passive better then this. It doesn't bring stats, it doesn't do anything majority of the time soo what's even the point? "But you can raise three ghouls!". The ghouls die easier then his wall does to a kogg maw and at best block a skillshot. He overall seems like a bad pick.

Minion can split push while he can teamfight.

But I do agree he needs some followup work.

Because you're the type of person that wants to show everyone how good you are at league by playing an off-meta/bad champion. Or you're trolling.

Yorick is a powerful split pusher who can farm passively and sustain in lane. He isn't an early aggressor you will lose a lot of match ups early on if you go too ham. However if you complete trinity force you really hit that power spike which will competently let you duel if you survive the laning phase. His base movement speed is noticeably much higher than a lot of juggernauts and really shows when you have item 3078 item 3742 item 3009 making him actually pretty damn hard to kite.

His split pushing is freaking phenomenal and should be what you focus on when you're playing Yorick and can really make himself a nuisance. With the max number of ghouls up and the maiden you will be tearing down a lot of towers like paper while building tanky.

A lot of champions can't deal with his ghoul early on and I am pretty sure that most champions shouldn't be trying duel a yorick with his maiden up.

It's not that Yorick is a bad pick, its how you use him. He's really fun to play and hits that thematic sweet spot so well. Yorick performs well in his own niche and he might be a bit on the weak side needing a few tweaks but he's a very rewarding champion and does really well when used correctly.
