Why Duskblade nerfs without real assassin buffs

Why nerf duskblade when assassins arent gonna get any real buffs. For example nerfing duskblade while giving talon an extra 10% ratio on w still equates to a nerf on talon. Why, because youre still losing out of dmg. For a champ like zed who is the least effected riot is still making a core item on him bad. Even then other roles in the have a bigger impact overall so the nerf on duskblade is just kicking a weak class, ad assassins, while they're down. Please post a meaningful reaponse if you agree or disagree

Give up of following the balance team ... Their logic in a nutshell: Few champ abuse the item ?, instead of nerfing those champ or the synergy with the dusk ( like making it a meele only item ) better nerf the item itself.

Btw the changes to Talon on PBE are the following:

Blade's End (Passive) damage changed from [75 - 175 (levels 1-11)] to [75 - 245 (levels 1-18)] Rake (W) return AD ratio reverted from 70% to 60% Shadow Assault (R) bonus AD ratio increased from 80% to 100%

As for Zed yeah it will be a straight nerf to him.

But the only guys who can really complaint is Pantheon ... he has been totally left out while item 3147 it's used as core from a lot of ppl

They have other changes just go read the thread. TBH it was abyssmal at first but there are more changes. Zed's just going to outright be getting the hardest hit as for the rest we just gotta pray riot stops being biased as hell.

Okay, no offense but why do people complain about assassin's so much? Those who main assassin's never seem to be satisfied no matter at what state they are at.

People say that Zed is bad when in reality he seems fine, looking at LL Stylish streams for example.

He's sitting at a balanced winrate too 50.32% so I don't get why he needs any more buffs.

I think they honestly thought dusk would be balance-able around every user for it, but the flat line is that assassin's shouldn't have their damage tied to a single item. They are nerfing dusk to figure out how to put power back into the kits instead of damage creeping with more duskblade buffs/nerfs. As Repertoir said in a different post on the forums, "We believe the champions being buffed are dependent on Duskblade to perform on 8.5. Come 8.6, with a much weaker Duskblade, it seems reasonable to expect that they'll be weaker. Our goal is to make these characters not rely so heavily on the existence of a very aggressively tuned Duskblade proc to perform, not to nerf the characters that currently rely on it."
