Get rekt Rek'Sai

Since now having played Rek'Sai, I have to say she sense really under powered. I've looked at guides and builds but they are all extremely difficult to pull off. More times than not her early game is trash, being exceedingly squishy considering she's meant to be a fighter/ tank. She relies too heavily on really expensive items to do some work on the other team. Not only do the items bing expensive hinder her damage but they hinder the fear factor she has. If you were ever playing her you'd probably realise if your team didn't kick off the game with a good start that using your ultimate to kill those who walk towards your tunnels, or even on them, becomes redundant. You probably won't kill them and they probably won't be scared to see you try. So they end up walking in either jungle just trashing your network. The more frustrating part is when I played with my friend, who mains Wokong (who is in the same 'fighter'/ tank style), I always find that he destroys every champion early game. Vets away from every lost team fight, tanks like a machine and deals damage like an assassin. But whenever I initiate, full build or not with Rek'Sai, I get focused and die extremely fast. So, as a suggestion because I love the idea of Rek'Sai, maybe change the ultimate so it does something useful like charge in a burrow and pop out under them for a longer stun than normal and take increased damage or something useful to help Rek'Sai secure herself and her team kills. Have the rush included in the passive so you can hold click on a tunnel to rush to it. Have the rage do more damage. Make it so the tunnels can't be destroyed or so they have much more health so aren't so useless. Her q definitely needs more to it. Maybe a detonation that reveals an area as it is awkward enough to hit already with minimal damage alongside it. The damage increase with ferocious bite is so unwhealming, it is considered a finish so there needs to be way more too it. Make her stun last last bit longer after they've landed so there is time to do significant damage before they escape so ot isn't just constantly relying on your team to take the kill. Someone probably is really good at her out there yeah. But she is not a strong champion and it's a shame because she can be so satisfying to play.

She's balanced around her passive which is really good when placed into a coordinated team. Much like Kalista, you can't really 'unlock' the whole champ's power when solo. I do agree she's come far from what she once was, and that it's kinda sad.

Rek Sai has great early game without tank stats and is a decent tank late game. Tunnel placement is huge on her. I honestly don't think she is op or underpowered and it's really a well balanced champ with total bias from me. I'd say it's a high skill cap champion and the more I'm learning about what to do it seems like the better I do. I am in no way anything but low Elo and don't play much ranked but I started maiming her halfway through preseason and i know how well you can do in a good game.
