ADC love suggestion

Cutting this short

I think adc's could possibly be sustain-maniacs the same way juggernauts are their own class.

The counter to these sustain-kings would be assassins, who chunk their health quickly before they can recover it.

Not every adc would get these (jhin-nope, varus-nope, quinn-nope) due to playstlye and such.

But some great examples to this class update would be vayne, ashe, kalista, twitch (super high attack speed champs)

Or maybe all the adc's would get it?

But riot likes uniqueness and I agree we don't have as many adc's anyway, unlike fighters in the game right now (which is why there needed to be a juggernaut update/ class update w/e).

Just throwing some ideas out there before I head off to work.

Please feel free to share some ideas involving this in the comments section.

You're basically asking Riot to strip even more skillful play away from a class that already has the lowest skill floor in the entire game. ADCs do massive damage for a reason: They are fragile and squishy. Bloodthirster already got a buff for ADCs. Death's Dance exists for ADCs. The list of ADC coddling has never been so high in a moba as it is in LoL. This is the first season that ADCs haven't been the strongest class to play. They can no longer solo carry games because other roles are now just as, if not more, important and impactful. Franky, nobody cares but the ADC players.

Adc is probably most difficult role and requires most skill. Staying in one point and attacking like braindead has big con: adc is losing mobility. If somebody stays then he is very easy to kill target and you have easier way to land skillshots. To be elusive, adcs needs to move non-stop.

no. this blanket statement is dumb as hell. there are enough adc who are at the same time self reliant and easy to play.

plus, what kind of difficulty are we talking about? mechanical difficulty? many mages, assassins, supports and melee adc are just as difficult, if not more difficult to play than most ranged adc.

people like to pretend that Yasuo takes no skill, just because theyve been getting smashed by a good one. yet, most people wouldnt be able to play him without feeding their asses off, if their life depended on it.

if youre just talking about orbwalking, then melee champions have to do that aswell, while getting blocked by everything that has a hitbox. "to be elusive, adc need to move nonstop." well no shit, to not be completely fucking useless and doing literally nothing, melee champions need to do the same, otherwise people jsut walk out of their auto attack range.

moving while auto attacking is not something special that only marksmen have to be able to do.

strategic difficulty? the jungle and the support role are more difficult to play in that regard.

please get your heads out of your asses. just because adc are hard to play at low mmr because nobody peels for them doesnt mean that they take the most skill to play.

But they are too squishy and if they will just stay and attack, bruiser or assasin will eat them.

such as?

I think yes. But let's don't compare roles to each other. Adc actually haven't that big burst and need to almost AA only which takes some second.

IMO, yasuo needs to take some skill, but his every single spell is annoying + passive.

Minority warriors needs it because most of them have dashes. Many adc have no escape mechanism.

Yeah, adc needs to know about kiting and positioning too. Eventually animation cancelling.

Adc needs to farm really hard which is difficult, supports don't focus on farm. Just helping. With jg i agree.

mages, supports, and assassins are just as squishy. and a couple of adc right now are just outbursting assassins and blow them up to the point that theyve become better assassins.

depends on which adc youre talking about. Ezreal Caitlyn Jinx

are by no means harder to play than almost any mage in the game, unless youre talking about the few truly easy ones like annie..

you LITERALLY said, and i quote

Adc is probably most difficult role and requires most skill.

you comparing roles was the whole start of this argument.

this is where im done.

i glossed over the rest, and can only assume youve never played any other type of champion than adc in this game and are making assumptions on a narrow point of view. otherwise youd know that orbwalking, animation cancelling, kiting and positioning are BASIC skills in this game that you have to learn on every champion. melee, ranged, auto attackers, casters doesnt matter.

even garen has animation cancels and needs to make use of auto attack cancels between movement like any adc.

Nope. Adcs are more squishy because they're ranged. Tanky supports exist (Blitzcrank Leona TahmKench Braum Nautilus). Assasins are squishy but have more damage.

Still they have established combo and by using it you do nice burst. You can't learn orbwalking fast and perfectly. Jinx is actually hypercarry it means she is easy to kill in early game, she depends on AA only and it's hard to land all abilities. Cait has pretty easy to dodge skills because of charge time from Q and not very big range from E. W has some activating time too. Every ezreal skill is skillshot.

I played some champs and actually by adc habit im kiting orbwalking and animation cancelling on every champ. I play sometimes xin on jg, I play sometimes support. When I started game then i obviously was testing champs so.

With so many shields and support item buffs... never. There is a reason why they give sustain only to melees. Have you ever laned vs Kindred top? Healing while hitting you = balanced.

they already ARE. where have you been living?

as soon as they hit their lategame powerspike, they turn into better drain tanks with warlord and a single lifesteal item than champions who were actually designed to be drain tanks.
