1022 RAMMUS ONLY GAMES!

Hear ye, hear ye! I RAMOOSE have climbed out of elo hell (bronze to plat) and attained plat status playing only rammus! Here’s just a few thoughts on my climb:

S4, I made plat status, then lost it due to continuing to play beyond the cutoff. Back to a gold frame for S5 even though lolking said S4 Plat on my banner.

S5 Rito changed the jungle completely at the beginning of the season and I ended up losing all of my placement games, landed in bronze where the most foulest of the foul mouths and tilted players reside. Crawling out of that elo was like clawing my way out of hell. The problem with mute is that it’s undone after the game and you have to get abused in the lobby, thanks Rito!

Silver: I struggled so hard in silver, it seemed like an endless eddie that I was stuck in, swooshing about back and forth, winning, losing and tanking almost all my promos, as rammus I could not carry and I could not trust my teammates to “all in” so I finally figured out that I had to build hybrid dps/tank and rely only on myself.

Gold was surprising, Rito actually forces you to play with bronze placements in this elo, one game there was a duo that could not figue out which hole to stick it in so-to-speak, yet Rito placed them on my team for their placements, when I looked at their histories; I realized that Rito’s MMR system is designed to keep the struggle eternal. Caught ya Rito!

G1 was completely different, most people at this elo have mastered their champions by now and I could comfortably initiate knowing people here could read a map and anticipate movements, ganks, etc., competency, I love it! This was a breath of fresh air! Ahhhh

I have not played a game in plat yet, but still debating if I’ll continue the grind or just take my small victory and cash it in for Plat frame glory.

Rammus stats: S3 8th in the world for rammus games S4 Plat, only rammus, then drop back to gold S5 Plat, only rammus, 1022 games, lolking score 1,850 12th place for rammus games worldwide, lolskill 4,779

Why rammus, perhaps I just love the challenge that comes from near impossible odds with every type of comp and skillcap imaginable or maybe I’m just what you call a 1-trick pony. Thanks for reading! Regards, Ultra Ramoose

lolskill and those sites goes off of how many games you play not your actual skill so in reality it means nothing. Neither does your ranking especially if its low. You have to be really bad at the actual game to still be plat after only playing one champion so many times since you know the ins and outs of the champ while most players have seen a rammus 100 times lifetime. It actually says you are worse player by not being atleast around masters by being a one trick pony. In reality you just know how to play rammus but barley. Not trying to be a dick but people need to stop playing ranked/gloating about playing one champion and doing it poorly just stick to team builder. Rank doesn't matter when you can only play one thing, means 100x as much to do something like i did and play a variety of champs and roles to diamond, shows you know more than just a champion and getting your way. also your perception on the elo's is incredibly wrong Im guessing thats because you one trick cheesed your way higher so you still have the low elo derp mentality because NOBODY in gold or plat have "mastered" any champion or they wouldnt be that elo, NONE of those players even have map awareness or ward even high diamond elo where i play people dont pay attention at all and dont anticipate ganks basically everything you said was false lmao. Also rammus has one of the highest win rates especially in low elo, not much of a challenge using a high win rate champion that abuses players not looking at the map and being out of position something low elo players do the most, not to mention you only play that champion so it makes it 50x easier for you since you know everything that champ does and every match up for that champ. You one tricks got a thick skull for that tiny brain. If you dont believe me stop playing rammus and watch that ass fall all the way back down :D

Update: So as I approached G1 promos I noticed most people in this elo had their champs mastered and the games were fairly easy to stomp, but as soon as I crossed over into plat V, I noticed the skill of the players (mmr) diminish greatly(more like a sharp drop), almost like I was back in silver, first 3 games I was one of the higher scoring champs *(kills/damage output), people playing like they're sleepy or don't have a minimap.

Took a break for a day and came back, same thing; so it seems like Plat V is where I stay this season.

Just to clarify, I originally made this post to share my thoughts as I like to write (badly), as far my stats being posted, I'm just giving the audience insight into where I am with my favorite champ.
