That's what I currently play at, and no ISP (between 5 different ISPs) have given me anything below 60. Meanwhile I see people on 6 ping in Korea and most pros play on 20-ish. Is there any hope for me? What do?
Edit - so apparently 80 ping isn't that bad, but if you guys could post what ping you play on and your rank so I can get a good idea where I stand amidst you.

I play with 120ish ping cause two certain states got shafted when the networking changes came about, but 80 ping is no poblem at all.
On topic though, how many people use the movement prediction setting? I find that it fucks up my attack moving a lot, but it does help with dodging.
I easily got to diamond V while playing on 82 ms

I'm fortunate enough to have good service and be close to the servers. My ping is never higher than 25.
I have played on higher ping before though, closer to 85-100 on avg at school when not plugged in. There is a noticeable difference once you hit 100 ping, as that is actually a fairly noticeable delay. 85 was playable, granted it's not nearly as smooth as what I normally have, but it didn't really impair my game play.
80 ping is still perfectly playable, i normally have 64-66 ping
once you reach 100 it starts getting a lot harder though
but even 100 ping when i main a champ like nidalee who has a 250ms spear cast animation and it takes .769ms to for her spear to go full length
so the channel plus the time it take to go max range is still over a second even with zero ping.
and if i can land spears with 66ms ping. i am sure you can play with 80....
