Laned against Malz yesterday

As LeBlanc. Let me just say, the spell shield passive was literally the last thing giving me headaches. You can just auto attack it away as you would against a Yasuo.

But the minions proccing thunderlord's? Holy shit. My jungler ganked at level 3 and he nearly killed us both, when we landed all our cc and spells perfectly. He didn't even run, he KNEW he could 1v2 us. Now that's messed up.

Outside of laning phase he wasn't much more impressive than the old Malz though, all he ever did was try to suppress the ADC. We even won the game.

Point being, I think his spell shield is actually ok, it has decent counterplay, but those minions are busted.

If he was smart he'd have let his aids clear lane, and use his minions to keep you at bay, but he got into auto attack range for his passive to go down when that shudve been up by the time he ults so it cant be disrupted so easily.

The things is the minons are strong yes but thats how they are intended to be if you noticed his ult is now just a glorified version of his old w you can even walk out of half the dammage once the CC ends so basically they shifted a lot of this power into the voidlings making that his identity. When playing malz now you kinda want to ult where there are a group of people rather than trying to lock down a single target that way you maximize your ult dammage.

I don't know what you're saying Malz's minions do 100% less damage now than they did before. If you almost died you would've died quicker pre character assassination.
