How to spice up Support
Let it be known that I am a NA B4 Supp main so I may not be the best at the game but I do play it quite a bit.
So it was a few days ago when I was playing a regular game with some friends and in a suprise gank my ADC took a bit of damage (lived mind you) but needed some health desperately. Sadly though, my champion had no way to help my ADC, so he would have to back and miss a few waves of farm and I would be left to get what I could. In my inventory sat a sad two biscuits, unable to have helped by lane partner and so I jokingly offered my friend some of my biscuits and the idea of being able to give teammates biscuits hasn't left my mind since. So I have been thinking, if people were allowed to give their teammates biscuits (or potions) how would it impact the game?
Pros:
- The support role is encouraged to make critical decisions (which it is currently lacking) on whether they should buy a biscuit/potion or a pink ward or save up for their next item. (in my opinion support can be a pretty braindead role and having supports make these important decisions can make it so that each game becomes unique)
- Roles besides support may be encouraged to buy less selfishly (Namely Junglers who could enter a lane to heal an ally)
- ? (tell me in the comments)
Cons:
- Healing supports become less valuable (Taric, Nami, Sona, Soraka, Alistar, Bard)
- ? (tell me in the comments)
If this sounds OP then perhaps modifications could be made so that a biscuit/potion is only does a fraction of it's current healing for allies, but this has just been a thought that may make the game a bit more fun. Thanks for reading and please leave any feedback below!
(sorry if I did something wrong, this is my first post on the boards ;-; )
