Just a reminder that Bard ult is the single most powerful ult in the entire game and it just got buffed.

Every single game I've played since this patch went live has been decided by a bard ult in favor of the team with the bard. It is absolutely oppressive.

With its lower cooldown, for example, it was able to completely stop me from carrying a game as Karthus despite being massively ahead. His ult basically decided that my character was not allowed to ever have an ult. Trade a support ult for the ult of the most powerful person on the enemy team? Pretty broken.

Had another game. 5 man bard ult into Morgana ult. Instant win. Enemy team was massively ahead, didn't matter. One bard ult turned the game around and we won.

This ult is absolutely ridiculously overpowered. Even if it isn't used offensively (you can spread out) it's defensive uses are beyond insane. Especially when you consider that people build GAs and hourglasses as well. Truthfully, it should have a cooldown closer to the length of a karthus ult. It is that game breaking.

Bard has always been an amazing support. He just takes a lot of skill. Lowering his ult CD just makes him oppressive mid game and it's not fun to play against.

Double edged sword, you can make your team win, but also your team lose. I don't think it deserves to be trash

Haha, no. Not even close. Top 20? Most likely. What's stronger? (Full build) Karthus, Azir, Gnar, Katarina, Ornn, Velkoz, MonkeyKing, Shen, amongst many others.

As an ex-Karthus main, that's not Bard's fault. If you ult in enemy vision, be prepared to facetank and potentially lose your ult altogether. That's what happens.

Except this could literally happen with any 5-man ult into Morgana ult. What about Gnar's ult into Morg ult? Or Wukong? You got punished for being caught out, not an issue of Bard being OP.

Would disagree I think Gragas Ult is more powerful. But to each their own. I would say Bard ult is top 25 though.

I am SUPREMELY confused by what you mean.... Bard’s ult has ALWAYS been a lower CD than Karthus’. The buff he got in no way significantly impacts the difference in time between karthus’ ult and his [Bard’s]. Additionally Bard’s requires actual skill to land and is liable for backfire. You were just outplayed. That Bard likely decided to save his ult specifically for your ults (if it really impacted you that much) something that he could’ve always done, just some don’t think to save the ult for Karthus. It’s similar with Soraka. Who’ll save her ult for when Karthus ults.
