Feature Request: Associating Masteries with Champs and Gamemodes

Pretty simple: 20 pages of masteries is a lot to scroll through to find the right one at the start of the match; 20 pages of masteries is not enough to cover all the different champs I've got unlocked, let alone their different sub-roles, or different builds for ARAM / Twisted Treeline / etc.

Basically, I'd like it if it worked a bit more like the item pre-set building option; where I can make as many mastery pages as I need - so I don't have to compromise a mastery-build for any given champ on the grounds that the page is being shared with other champs - and so the only mastery pages I need to choose from are those I've assigned to the champ & game-mode in question.

Nice, simple quality-of-life improvement; means I'm not compromising my builds against people who have focussed on a few narrow and very specific game-modes / champs with their builds.

20 mastery pages is actually enough now for all your champions, you might have to make one change on one here and there quickly before a game on certain champs but that takes half a second really

last season i would have agreed with you but this seasons masteries are very simple and straightforward to the point where you could make a new page before every game and still have time to pick your bans let alone pick your champs

once you know all the options in and out you will find it very quick and easy to setup a page this season

I could understand linking rune pages to champ+modes, since you can't change runes in champ select. Masteries, on the other hand, are easier to change now than in any previous season. It's quite manageable to have six pages total for all the possible combinations of (18/12) and adjust as needed. Even three more pages for the (18/6/6) combos would still only put you at nine pages total.

Here's the thing, there's no way in hell I'm going to remember "one change here or there" for 32 different heroes I currently have unlocked, plus the changes in roles for each one depending on where I'm playing them, plus the changes needed to reflect the game mode they're being used in. I can no more remember the precise builds I'm using for each of them than I can remember what item-routes I've theory crafted for each one of them off the top of my head.

And the last thing I want to do is get caught out flipping around masteries at the very last second when I've had to put off even figuring out which champ I'm going to go for - due to getting stuck waiting for sleepy team-mates to figure out what they're going to do.

Maybe your approach and ability to commit time and resources to the game is such that you can easily look at any one of your stable of champs and remember exactly what combinations of masteries you've figured out is the best fit; but I simply lack the headspace for this, and a few seconds before the game starts is not enough time for me to load up the LoL wiki and refresh myself as to the peculiarities of any given character's kit.
