Invasion: Onslaught, a few tips to beat this gamemode on S+ from a guy that has completed all of it

Lets start with the basics.

Monsters Velkoz Welcome to bullet hell, literally. This monster is basically a big pile of fuck you in everyway possible, his Qs are global, has 2 seconds cooldown and if you trigger one, you better pray to hell your team isn't near you because it will split like the regular vel koz's Q and it will HURT. Other than bullet hell themed attacks, this monster offers nothing more. Is relatively squishy so you can kill him pretty fast

Kog maw Once he finds a target, he will stay still and iniciate a 3 second channel, decimating everyone except poppy within his range. CCing kog maw resets his enrage and leaving his target area is also a viable option to keep them at bay. Basically, either run the fuck away or don't let him breathe.

Rek sai This guy is the backbone of the whole gamemode. He's basically a filler monster that serves all functions at once, albeit weaker in each of them. This guy is tanky af, will kill you if left unanswered and will keep on dashing onto you and knock you up everytime it can. For the love of god, don't ignore rek sai.

Cho gath Easiest monster in this gamemode, he simply spams ruptures at his location and chases every champion he can. Just stay out of his melee form, he has no means to get to you.

Kha zix This guy is just here to piss you off, he will come to you, either basic attack or Q you then jump away and go invisible. Repeat process untill all of you are dead. His damage is low but can quickly rack up if you don't take care of him, save CC for them and ask your poppy to stay with you at all times.

Skarner Ult bot. Nohing more to say, he's just here to be a squishy ass skarner that ults everyone and pisses everyone off

Scuttle crab This monster is an infinite kayle ulti generator. He will bind to a random monster and keep it unable to die or even be affected by CC until it dies. Other than that, he has no other uses. Is PRETTY easy to kill

All the god damned voidlings They're just voidlings. Their function in this gamemode is to piss you all off and kill you slowly if you for some reason lack AoE damage. Don't let them get big enough for that.

Boss Vel koz This boss is just nuts, his beams deals so much damage that tanking is is impossible, however, it is slow and only follows one target at a time. The best way to deal with this boss is for your team to split and go different ways. Also, never stand still, ever. PS : Poppy can't tank the beam so don't try to be a hero -_-

Boss Rek sai Has more health, deals more damage and jumps at you guys from a very telegraphed distance. Once you guys see those green circles on the ground, just avoid them or suffer being knock back (possibly out of your safe zone) and being dealt alot of damage.

Boss Cho This one is quite simple, once it spawns, it'll target a champion and follow him regardless of where he stands the rest of the game until that champion dies either by the Cho gath or by other means. His ruptures are alot bigger but they're no threat if you don't go melee on him.

The Big One Rift herald on heavy steroids, this dumb creature will follow one of you guys around until that person is dead or stays very far away from him. This rift has 3 attacks. Basic attack : Deals about 500 CRITICAL damage to the champion he's targetting. Obviously he's melee so just keep running from him. Dash attack : Basically a VERY big modified version of boss rek sai's dash but it doesn't deal alot of damage, It's just there to make you unable to pin him down. Orb attack : This is the biggest fuck you skill I've ever witnessed. As a fan of 5k hp poppy in this gamemode, I've been 1shotted more times by this ability than I've lost this stupid ass gamemode. He spins around throwing orbs at every existing location on the map and each orb deals about 480 damage, wether or not you are tanky (apparentally it's true damage for some fuckin reason). If you're a poppy and you're in his ass, you WILL GET 1SHOTTED BECAUSE YOU WILL EAT ABOUT 10 ORBS. The only way to counter this is to either dash, flash or hide behind cover. (Some lampposts in the map are barely visible but can be used to hide.)

Priorities (Every level except the last one) They're in order, the top ones being top priority and the last ones being the ones you usually kill at the end Scuttle crab Boss Vel koz Vel koz Kog maw Boss Reksai Rek sai Kha zix Skarner Boss Cho gath Cho gath Note : Voidlings are so weak they'll usually die by accident so don't bother focusing them unless there is a huge swarm).

Priorities (The last level) In the last level, you're gonna have to play a bit differently. First of all, you need a coordenated and communicating team. Second, once the level starts, one of you will be the one who's getting aggroed, that guy will keep on aggroing the boss and running away from the boss AND the team. While the decoy is busy taking on the boss, the other 4 non-aggroed teammates have 3 functions: 1: Get rid of all monsters that the boss spawns 2: Revive any dead teammates 3: Hitting the boss once everything is cleared and noone is needed to revive. You basically keep repeating this order until the boss is dead, if the boss changes aggro, the new aggroed player now assumes control of the boss and proceeds to run away while the former aggroed player joins his crew in killing all monsters the boss spawns, reviving teammates if needed and attacking the boss once everything is cleared. You guys gotta play patiently on this boss, do not go all in on the boss unless it's at 2500 HEALTH. It is a rather easy boss to pass once you get the hang of it.

The best team Poppy Built full hp (With item 3083 and item 3109 ). Keystone : Stoneborn Pact. Your main objetive in this mode is to apply Stoneborn pact into as many enemies as you can and tank a few vel koz's balls. Your stoneborn pact will give SUPER HIGH HEALS because everyone is a champion and since you're full hp it'll have a crazy scaling. I've had a game where I healed about 30k damage on my teammates. Syndra Build item 3165 for the infinite mana and item 3151 for hyper scaling damage. Rest is up to you Lux Played full support style. Maxes W first (In this map, lux is the only supp capable of having a 5 second AoE massive shield) Build item 3174 and item 3504 first then a item 3151 for the hyper scaling damage. Rest is up to you MissFortune Build item 3153 and item 3124 for maximum DPS. Rest is up to you. Miss fortune is easily the best champion to save your team from a very bad situation due to her ultimate being super strong and the enemies refusing to actually avoid shit. You play her for the clutch ulti saves. Jinx Build item 3153 and item 3124 for maximum DPS then choose whatever you want, either crit or more damage. Jinx has perma passive in this mode and is easily the one that will carry all of you in this map so keep her alive.

That's all for now. Good luck to everyone getting that shitty ass ward skin and a free 450 ip champion :)

Make sure you take good masteries. Dangerous game is amazing due to all the kills you get, Bounty Hunter gets to 6% bonus damage, and Exposed Weakness means 3% on top. If in the middle tree, might as well take Assassin cause the other masteries are useless.

DO NOT TAKE BANDIT. It sounds like a good idea but the game makes sure you have a set amount of gold total after each round, so even if bandit earns you 200 gold, you'll only get 800 while the rest of your team gets 1000. Don't take Spellthief either for the same reason.

Know your build before hand. You have 10.7K to work with. Do not buy something and sell it back, cause you are wasting gold. Bork, Guinsoo, Wit's End, and Beserkers for ADCs. Iceborn/Knight's Vow, SV/Abyssal Mask, Warmogs, Bami, and Merc Treads for Poppy. Morello, Ludens, Liandry for mages. Supports can vary but Ardent is a must.

Don't be afraid to suicide the round. If you die in early rounds, you'll tank your ranking if going for an A or S. Suiciding resets the rank and doesn't hurt your score, so it is an effective way to erase a misplay or a way to see what RNG map you got so you can strategize how to handle it. Knowing to save MF ult for the group of 5 Kog's is better than wasting it to kill 2 Vel's, so resetting might get you a better rank.

Another way to build MF is item 3031 item 3087 item 3812 cause it boosts her ult damage and offers some waveclear for the voidlings when her E is down.

For Lux I take Stoneborn and go item 3504 item 3065 item 3083 item 3174 / item 3107 . Allows for you to play without Poppy yet still have some what of a tank in those instances someone needs to block for the team. Plus the combo of Stoneborn Ardent means every basic ability can apply Ardent to your whole team.

Otherwise I completely agree.

I'm not sure but I think Guinsoo also double procs Ardent's life drain (it should at least), making both items even more efficient.

Just be patient especially if going for an S rating cause sometimes you think that A will hurt your score but the 650+ you get in one round makes up the difference.
