FPS drops in League even though I have a mega PC

I have an Intel Core i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz with a GeForce GTX 1080 with 16 gigs of RAM at 144Hz, with over 650 Gigs of free storage/memory space. So WHY would a graphically undemanding game like League be having Framerate issues? I used to have no problem with this a couple months ago, even when I would stream my gameplay while playing. When I open up my Task Manager the "Memory" isle shows that it's almost at 100% operating power/capacity, so maybe that has something to do with it? If so, how do I cut down the "Memory" power? Thank you LoL community!

Okay, let's start then.

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

Sadly I don't have fourth step tutorial album :P But I'll try to explain it:

  • Disable XBOX DVR on Windows 10.
  • Go to start menu, choose settings.
  • Find "Gaming" tab and click it.
  • Turn OFF everything you can find there in all sub-tabs.
  • Additionally download this registry editor.
  • Launch the script, allow run, say yes (UAC), say yes to continue, click OK to finish.

Fifth step is also a thing I don't have as an tutorial album...steps:

  • right click on your desktop on any empty space to summon option menu.
  • find NVIDIA control panel and open it.
  • control panel should open, find "Manage 3D settings", click it.
  • Scroll down to middle section and find "Power management mode" and set it to "Prefer maximum performance"
  • click OK/Apply and close NVIDIA control panel.

(If at fifth step you don't have NVIDIA control panel option then let me know)

Last step, go into custom game in League of Legends and change your video settings to these:

  • Windowed Mode = Full Screen
  • Character Quality = Very Low -> High (choose either low, medium or high)
  • Effects Quality = Very Low -> High
  • Environment Quality = Very Low -> High
  • Shadows = OFF
  • Character Inking = ON
  • Frame Rate Cap = Uncapped
  • Anti-Aliasing = OFF
  • Wait for Vertical Sync = OFF

Now save settings, exit league and restart your pc for the last time, and then go and test in custom game.

Hope this will help at least somehow, GL!

(edit: Oh I just noticed I'm on the wrong boards..)

Yes! So far all of this is working wonderfully! I also emptied all the cache data in Chrome so that helped too. You deserve a job at Rito for all the hard work you put into those guides. And, so far, they work! Thank you very much kind stranger!

I would have listed the usual solutions such as lowering your game settings, but it's probably a virus or something.
