Since I seem to have an affinity for liking champions that happen to be absolutely awful and out of the meta, are there any mage classes I CAN play that if fed can carry a game? Mage ap ranged class. I see characters like Irelia, Pyke, Kayn, Yi, Lucian, Garen, Xin....etc carry entire games. Are AP ranged mages actually capable of this? I'm tired of getting teams of troll teammates and I wanted to be able to carry a game by myself, but I need to know if it's not possible with what I actually enjoy playing.

Mages arent underpowered right now. Maybe you aren't very good and need to improve your gameplay. Flaming people and posting "screenshots" won't make you a better player. :)

Mages are far from weak, if anything they deserve nerfs.

If you're good with skillshots, Xerath .

If you want late game raw power Karthus Kassadin Cassiopeia .

If you like yordles (yuk) Ziggs .

If you want to annoy your opponent and snipe people Lux .

The only one that I know that can carry really well if they get fed is Lux.

Is heimerdinger considered a ranged mage? If so than Heimer is also pretty damn good if fed.

If you're below Platinum, play Annie. LS approves.

ZIlean is fairly good too and not a contested pick at all. Some players say he's boring though. ######Zilean and Zyra are my pocket picks for mid.

brand literally carries on a support budget. imo magic damage is a tad overtuned right now.

they need to nerf void staff to 35% again, and revert the liandries buff. i dont understand that one anyway. its not lilke the champions who already built liandries before didnt do enough damage with it.

Yes they can. Depending on your build and how good you are with the mage.
