Patch 5.22 Disappointment

When reading over all the new changes that were coming with this patch I was super excited, they all sounded great. I was really looking forward to the marksman update and the new items and possibly sustain builds and the new champ select that is on the way... OMG that looks amazing still! However...

Now that the patch has come through and I have played several games across several accounts and tested much of the new content out in customs... oh man I really really am disappointed with the state of the game. Pretty much all of my favorite characters are now extremely weak due to other champions getting massive buffs as well as major changes to masteries.

This is not the first time this has happened, Season 4 was greatly disappointing to me and I ended up deciding to just not play LOL all together that season. Season 5 has been fun, I spent a fair amount of time learning all the new changes and features in the game but now that these new changes are in... once again I find myself not interested in playing.

The difference between the S4 changes and these preseason changes is I have a lot more going on now. I have always been a casual player, I haven't played ranked matches since season 3 and even then I don't think I played more than one hundred ranked matches (mostly due to the toxic players at that point) but now, I think it's time for me to just bow out of playing league all together. Previous preseason changes have been pretty big and left a lot to be learned and adapted too but this patch has turned league into a whole new game. I don't like the new game, I liked the old game. Sure it needed some tweaks here and there but it was fun. This new league? not fun to me.

TL;DR -- Patch 5.22 changes have caused me to decide to quit playing league indefinitely.

Invested, lets see I have played an immeasurable amount of games, I own nearly all the champions, I have several skins, max number of rune pages and all of them set up, multiple mastery pages set up, loads of time spent testing builds over and over so yeah... I am really 'so little invested' in this game that when they fundamentally change the entire game in preseason and I try out champions and builds I find my favorite champions now obsolete... I can feel pretty confident in saying I quit. I even came back for patch 5.23 to see how they would try to remedy the shit they broke but most of it has been ignored. So I quit. summoner 14

I do not know how many times i have said it already, but... Are you really so little invested in a game that you like that you get out of the game in PRESEASON? I don't want to sound harsh, but have you even tried new things for your favorite champions before going and saying 'I quit'? And even then, the season ain't even started, most of the changes will get pretty much tweaked in or out of there.
