I Wanted To Main Heimerdinger. Spent A Week And This Is What Happened.

So, Heimerdinger is my old mains cousin. Although Teemo is retarded (as stated by many of the community). I tried him for a week. Learned him on co-op vs ai. Became a beast on normals. I'm talking 25/2/5 as a heimerdinger. Ez. But as soon as I went to ranked, I couldn't carry anymore. 11/13 one game. 5/10 two others due to being ganked so many times yet receiving no ganks. Won my 2nd game with 10/4. I did well in some, but couldn't carry in others.There are literally so many counters to heimerdinger that both teams could ban 10 of his counters and still the enemy team could pick another. His turrets have way too little health. And he is no assassin so unless you go electrocute, ambushes aren't even worth it at times. I lost 7/10 of my provisionals due to my team either not realising his burst potential with turrets or feeding(unting) so much that I couldn't do any damage to the adc. I had 2 bad games against an Azir and a gangplank. Gangplank can 1 shot all of your turrets on a 5 second cooldown. Azir can use sand warriors to hit your turrets in 3 hits while standing quite far away. How long is heimerdingers turrets cooldown with little cdr. About 18 seconds. This makes no sense to me at all. Both of these can damage your turrets and what can you do to protect them? Stun, but your turrets are too far away to use laser beam. And without laser beam how are we supposed to do damage? Aside from mid lane champs. Master Yi can 1 shot your turrets with q aswell? All 3! In like 2 seconds. EXPLAIN RITO PLS. I hope if you do main heimer that you have more luck. Hopefully by that time he will have an insane buff and I will be diamond. Just to let you know, Im silver 5 (I never played ranked before provisionals). And all the Silver 5s know how to counter Heimerdinger. Maybe in bronze 3-5 they wont. But even bronze 1s know how. Heimerdinger Heimerdinger Heimerdinger Heimerdinger Heimerdinger Heimerdinger needs a buff. Please rito, I don't know who to otp now. Someone recommend me a champ with a similar playstyle (aggresive from behind minions if you know what I mean). Only heimer mains will know what I want though so I will probably have to find it myself. Other champions just don't suit me as well as Heimerdinger though ;( But if you do play him. Talon may look scary, but he is easy to kill. People think he counters heimer, he doesn't and he will only know that when you go 4/1 on his sorry feeding ass.

He has a 51.5% winrate according to champion.gg for both mid and top lane so it looks like he's fairly strong when played right. You may have learned him mechanically well but heimer isn't a normal pick and needs extra fine tuning to know how to actually carry a game as him rather than getting a decent KDA or falling behind to a counter pick.

I'm no heimer main tho so idk

It sounds like its your playstyle of heimer that is the issue, not the champion. He is pretty strong when utilized correctly.

hmm that is more evidence to the point that heimer is strong enough to be played gold and lower. There are many more champions that are in WAY worse condition than heimer atm. He already has an oppressive kit especially with stopwatch being a free thing in the runes now.
