When I opened my Myster Champion and got sad.
Whats a Volibear?
Not counting ARAM, about the time of Rakan's and Xayah's release. I played with a Voli top that dumpstered an Irelia top.

I saw one yesterday on the enemy team. He built full tank and was getting solo popped by our Rengar in 2 seconds flat. He was absolute dog shit before the new runes, but now everyone gets to do ADC damage, so yeah, it's really bad.

When did you last see Ivern, Mundo, Fiddlesticks, Kindred, Malphite, Mordekaiser, Nautilus, Olaf, Pantheon, Poppy, Quinn and Valor, Singed, Skarner, Zyra.
All champs I hardly see at alll. Or maybe once in the preseason when everybody is just running w / e.

Volibear has a small gravestone on op.gg lul. he is non existent everywhere it seems.
I did play a blind pick volibear top against some scrub Jarvan. got S- with a mediocre score. so he is good for getting an easy chest it seems

Less than a month ago, but I have a friend who plays infrequently who mains Voli and Urgot (even before the Urgot rework), so I may not be the best sample...

Good. I hope volibear stays in the trash. Whenever he's good, hes cancerous as fuck. Just runs at you and flips you into the enemy team. haha great gameplay. if youre not playing ashe or something with a disable good luck out running him or kiting him.

Trick plays him quite a bit, but I don't see anyone in the actual games I play. He just seems wierd to me. He just doesn't make sense tbh and doesn't seem too fun.

I still play him! People don’t expect his passive and bite damage. Nothing like a 5k hp bear frolicking through your backline!
The latest I’ve seen voli was in PBE ARURF. Yeah You only see him in an all random mode

It was 2 years ago at my friends house, he played Volibear jungle. No jokes it was really about 2 years ago.

Also its not even decent like when no one was playing these champions 
years ago so you could just the fact that they were under powered champions and under known champions to go high damage off meta builds to surprise people into a win for you by taking advantage of peoples lack of knowledge..
