Ekko nerfs? I say yes and no.

As someone who has had weeks+ to play with ekko on the pbe I can say with confidence that he has very glaring weaknesses. If he's in the jungle, pick someone that has a strong level 1 fight and invade the little guy If he's in mid set up a nice shiney camp fire and let him know to come hang out.

During teamfights multitask and keep track of the "echo" behind him Give him a single stun or snare and he's done no complaints no nothing.

Now, he's not perfect, he does need nerfs but I hope that rito gaems looks into this post to see where a recommended nerf is Add a cost to his ulti, up the cooldown, and change the scaling from 1.3 - 1.1 This is all just IMO and speculation on what would work, but I say don't break his kneecaps on the first patch, but edge him there to find a sweet spot. And he'll be one of the most balanced champs in this game.

He's got his weaknesses, definitely. But there are also huge strengths.

Way more than a one hundered percent AP scaling on his ult. With just 23 ap (that'd be a flask start and no AP in runes except for the quints) his Q deals 139 damage level one. Who can keep up with that? His mana sustain is pretty strong, he feels like you can spam skills without buying any mregen or even flat mana. A well-done W is a 2.25s stun on a huge AoE plus a strong shield. Most importantly, he has got such nice farm deny with his Q if you lay it over low hp cs at the right timing and with his W that even stops people from harassing him under the turret, too. And several other mentionable strengths...

He looks like someone who is hard to balance.
